Well, that thing is ugly. I had a girlfriend who had weird feet, and believe it or not it would bug the hell out of me. I'm not a fetishist at all, but weird hands and feet always bug me.
BTW, speaking of Alexia, I did a quick check on r34 and she seemingly occupied the spot of Lady D in the porn section of the fandom. Basically 90% of her r34 material is her raping Claire, Chris or Steve.
So apparently 3make might get an update. If it’s been this long, it’s probably a content update. I’d suppose capcom saw all the backlash and is finishing the game to get back a good reputation. I’m hoping they add the Barry ending.

The Berry ending, the clock tower, a more open world, an actually intimidating Nemesis, the hospital siege taken out and set on fire, zombies that don't have a distended anus for a face...
I mean I know it ain't gonna happen, but may as well dream.

I’m kinda hoping they add the grave digger in. Strange, I know, but I think they could do more to improve this boss compared to the original. Also would be nice to see nemesis in his original 2nd form but I know that won’t happen. Also actually add Jill’s iconic line when she kills nemesis.

It's done, I did it, took over a week long break but finally finished the main game of RE5.
Ugh, that was not a good time, I honestly just find the gameplay tedious and frustrating whereas 4 was a lot better and the final showdown with Wesker, while graphically impressive, his actual demise, I don't know, I was expecting a bit more.
What is the origins of Ouroboros supposed to be? It's funny how the Las Plagas is back but not really relevant to the actual story much at all, kind of odd, what did Wesker stand to gain by infecting a bunch of random Africans?
Well, I'm just very glad to be done with the main game, however I still want to play the DLC Lost In Nightmares.

So, so glad to be done with the main game of RE5, that was one of the worst games I've played start to finish in a long time.
Like I said, it isn't just the fact that the locales are lame and not a good fit for RE, it's that the gameplay itself is just a frustrating, tedious slog, it's just simply not a well made game.
I'm just glad that now I can finally say I beat it and effectively ignore it's existence from here on out, in my head canon the final confrontation between Chris and Wesker is something different and something unseen, kind of like how the final battle between the Belmont's and Dracula is something spoken of but never actually seen in Castlevania.
Basically we go from RE4 to a long gap where things happened but who knows what exactly and then the story picks up again with RE7.
Now all I have left is the Lost in Nightmares DLC which I'm hoping will be at least a little more interesting.
I'd say Lost in Nightmares is possibly the best thing about that game, but it could be my rose tinted glasses speaking.
It gives me the feeling it was supposed to be a part of the game at first and then got cut later on production, replaced by the segments where Chris is asleep/daydreaming and has Jill flashbacks. Like Schmeckel said, its got great atmosphere and good moments of gameplay where you are stripped of your gear and you have to make it with what you find and the enviroment.
Finished Lost in Nightmares and also had time to finish the other DLC, Desperate Escape.
Lost in Nightmares is not bad, liked it much better than the main game, but it's over with so quickly, this is the home of Umbrella's head honcho and it's just been relegated to a brief DLC? To say this is an underutilization is to put it lightly, why couldn't the whole of RE5 been about Chris and Jill infiltrating the Spencer estate? I agree with the idea that this was meant to simply be a chapter of the main game but was cut.
There's some real interesting bits of lore though,
I gotta say guys, I really feel like it's hinting that Spencer is still alive, his butler writes that he wanted Wesker to find him? Why? And even his butler speculates that Spencer is up to something, why couldn't Spencer have been infected with whatever virus allowed Wesker to come back to life? Maybe he wanted Wesker to kill him so he could come back to life and everyone would think he was dead, maybe he's been the one behind The Connections from the shadows?
There's something else strange, in his diaries he talks about someone named "Alex" and it seems like he's talking about Alexia and referring to the Rockfort island, but then he said everyone disappeared? Is he actually referring to Alex Wesker? If so it's interesting that they already had that character in mind years before Revelations 2.
I also noticed that it's referred to as Spencer estate and not Spencer castle as it was called in the original version of RE4, could these be two different places?
Anyway, Desperate Escape is fine, main thing I liked is being able to play as Jill in her sexy catsuit, it's not great but a little more exciting than similar areas in the main game.
At any rate, I guess I accept RE5 as canon more or less, but the whole thing with Spencer and that setting feels like such a waste, Capcom needs to either revisit it or make a "what if" game utilizing RE4's original script, I mean why not? At the very least they should publish that script just so fans can know what might have been, I'm simply very curious.
I'm very, very glad to be done with RE5 completely and with that this RE marathon that I've been undergoing all summer long is finally complete, whew, that was a hell of a ride, I've wanted to do a marathon like this for years and figured the series' 25th anniversary was the best time to do it.
Just finished CV and honestly it was... much more enjoyable than I thought. I admit I didn't like it at first, but I've grown to like it more as I played it.
Next one will probably be RE3 Nemesis - not the remake, the original - and then I wouldn't know. Is Revelations good?

Revelations is... alright, I guess? I mean it’s fine for what it is, and it’s definitely a return to horror, but it’s much more on the cheap end and it shows. (Oh god those ooze death animations) Rev 2 is much better.
I don't know why they made Jill black when she's apparently part Japanese.
I mean I know why, it's because the only POC these people care about is black people but if they had made Jill asian they'd be woke AND canonically accurate.

My main guess is that they put that in there as a possible plot hook for a future game and it evolved into Revelations 2. It doesnt seem to me that they had the whole Wesker Children figured out by 5, I think they would've referenced it more if they did.

But what even is the deal with Wesker? How did he come back to life and gain superhuman powers? Is that just the effect the T Virus has on certain candidates? The whole thing is vague and not properly explained.
