As usual people don't get or refuse to understand that the method to identify offending materials does NOT involve posessing the materials in any shape or form, they are more often than not identified via hashes from which you cannot possibly recover any images from.
You can reconstruct low-res images from a PhotoDNA hash: https://anishathalye.com/inverting-photodna/

Epik has been a giant shit show. See the Namepros thread. They're losing domain regs meaning the company will probably fold soon. No one who is owed money (millions!) seems to know who the new owners are either... if they are even new at all. Epik has not and probably cannot pay the people demanding money from them now (Epik's escrow sold domains from third-parties and kept all the money).
This may sound tinfoil hattery but...given that Epik was for the longest time the host of "wrongthink" sites, is it possible that whoever bought it out did so precisely with the intention of crashing the business and all of its customers?

Even if that's true, it doesn't change the fact that Epik is compromised and run by complete faggots who are helping contribute to the degradation of free commerce and communication on the Internet. It may have served it's purpose in the past, but now it doesn't. And frankly, they don't deserve to earn any more money off false promises and lying to it's customers. The Internet as a whole is better off with it gone.

I've heard the new owner of Epik is a big guy

The willingness matters, and it adds up. As I outlined on page 75, At 1000 willing donors, $75 per person covers the entire $75,000 target, and Null is not saying "pay me now." Keep in mind he's constantly getting secret crypto donations, he sells merch regularly, and collects a lot of superchats on stream twice a week. If you feel compelled to donate to him early in small doses, the stream superchats are the easiest, most normie way to give him money. You can always persue crypto donos at any time at the bottom of every page, and he has someone in the U.S. to send money orders to now. I'm pretty sure I've already given him $75 dollars in the past 2 months, but it was to make him say funny things on camera.
Thank you that is an answer.

Unlikely. The Epik saga began in August 2022 when the first person reported on Namepros that he could not get his escrow funds. The money problems began then. The "new" (?) Epik in Wyoming came late 2023.

Yes:

That's why we're gearing up for war.

Sorry I should be clearer.

Nulls interpretation is that the initial tweet was a claim by Epik that Law enforcement required Epik to put a clientHold on the domain.

My interpretation is that the initial tweet was a poorly worded claim by Epik that they did not sieze the domain because they were required to help switch the domain by "U.S authorities".

While inaccurate to my knowledge, the latter interpretation is not defamatory. The Epik X account's sarcastic shitposting has made their position even less clear.

i'm trying to be optimistic but what if they try pulling up loli hentai as the basis for their claim?
A transgender anime profile xitter user setting federal precedent that loli is legally indistinguishable from real CP would be the twitter equivalent of 9/11 and make an entire swathe of the tech sector vulnerable to mass reporting/firing.

I will absolutely donate to this cause, I get so fucking tired of people labeling a site that’s for laughing as retards as some shady, underground organization. If it’ll make some company abusing their power piss their pants or more forward in the retard war I’m all in and can donate a few hundred easy.

Epik LLC has made two claims on X :
1) They were forced to put a clientHold on kiwifarms.net by Law Enforcement, which we evaded by moving the domain out of the country.
2) That the Kiwi Farms "hosts child porn".

These are both false, and these are both instances of actionable per se defamation. The damage of these claims is inherent in the claim and they are already being parroted by adversaries for the purposes of trying to further erode our ability to find stability and sure footing on the Internet.

Epik is a Wyoming LLC, X is a California LLC, and Kiwi Farms is a West Virginia LLC. To pursue this, I would have to find a lawyer in one of these jurisdictions. I don't know any.

Taking a case to trial is at least $75,000. However, they would be able to pay because they are a big company, and this would be an amazing step for being able to show providers: Yes, we are legal, and yes, we are taking steps to remedy actionable defamation to the contrary.

I've put up a poll. I am already dealing with litigation and saving money for another case. Would the community itself actually want to finance litigation?

Edit: I will find a way to get fiat working so you don't need crypto, but special crypto wallets can also be set up.
Pardon if already asked.

You have counsel to reference this before finding counsel to file this suit.

Has there been any communication on Epiks part beyond the tweets? If you can't answer, it's of course fair.

While to most of us this seems like cut a cut and dry legal issue, I assure you've gone through your resources to make sure this is a feasible endeavour that with proper funding could be a success? Us Kiwis clearly have no issue funding this.

This would be a monumental car and victory for freedom on the internet and censorship. Epik shutting down domains is like a post office shutting down my mailbox because they don't like who writes me and I want nothing more than to see this go through.
