Since I have nothing useful to say I've thought a bit and I think you're really going to want a business with an office to be the agent. For safety and everything else.

I assume you've been calling places in states like Wyoming on the telephone since most of them barely have any idea what these fancy 'computer' things are. I can imagine them getting an email... "What's a lawlcow?"

There's one offer from North Dakota but I am somewhat concerned about local laws. I've not been contacted out of South Dakota.

What local laws?
ND has one extreme advantage and that is "Bank of North Dakota" -it's state run and due to various precedents you'd have first amendment claims if they tried to debank you from there.

How about a survivalist? He will have a postal address, though it will be difficult to find behind the barbed wire and dogs. No 3am calls on his cell phone because he won't have one. He lives off the grid and family either already thinks they are crazy, or lives nearby waiting for the end times. He'll also be living in the Redoubt somewhere which trannies think is the Fourth Reich complete with tranny concentration camps.

problem with that route is i think null is looking for someone who could scan teh mail and email it to him. an off grid survivalist isnt going to be able to handle that part.

Do you keep saying 503(c) when you mean 501(c)(3)? I can't find any indication that the former is a thing.
Yes, you are correct. I'm used to typing "501c3" because the extra parentheses are annoying but then I tried to be accurate by including parentheses and somehow jumbled it up in my brain.

I'm usually only dealing with the CA versions of 501(c)(3), which all have stupid names like ARTS-PB or ARTS-RE. I've only had to go through the effort to actually get a 501(c)(3) letter from the IRS once because Sprint didn't understand or accept the CA tax-exempt certificate.

I'm probably just :dumb:, but do we need to be registered in the US? Could we be registered in a Latin American country for instance? I don't think people in the middle of Africa would care about transgenders either.
What about Poland? Heck at this point lolcow could almost get on as a government funded division protecting cultural integrity through information and education.

Poland may be somewhat based, but cultural attitudes aren't the primary consideration -- legality is. IIRC Null consulted a Polish attorney several years ago and concluded the site was not legal there. Similar issues with Russia -- they may have recently signed legislation outlawing trans forever, but is it legal to make fun of people online? Roskomnadzor may not think so.

The USA, for all its faults, generally has the strongest speech protections in the world.

I remember Null joking once on stream when this issue first came up that KingCobraJFS could feasibly be the registered agent because he's based in Wyoming and already used to constant trolling.

Realistically, having Cobra as the agent would probably be more harmful than helpful, but it would be funny to see.

I almost hate what the trannies are doing to the internet that I loved enough, to volunteer my family into the shit tornado. I know that every autist that hates the farm would track down and fuck with my family. It wouldn't matter if I hadn't talked to them in years or even knew where they live right now. These massive faggots would fuck with them to get me to stop being a RA.

I fucking hate how the internet is now. You can't even troll people properly anymore and the people that used to be trolled are doing life ruination. I can't even put into words how much I wish you luck you super autist slobber mutt.

Alright, so we are just spit balling idea here. Here is a another one. By am accident of history, Virginia has some Maritime Islands. The most populated one being Tangier Island.

We are talking next level remote here. Boat access only. No roads. No airports. Property is also ridiculously cheap on the Island as most assume it will sink beaneath the waves in thr next few decades. You could reach out to their local chamber of commerce. They are desperate to find something to do other then fish increasingly scarce oysters. Serving as perfectly legitimate Registered Agents may be something that will interest them.

Even better, the Island is a fully incorporated part of Accomack County, Virginia. Even has a post office and zip code.

Which means it fits the legal requirements for incporating in the location. Of course, any process server would have to hire a boat and sail out for 2 hours into the Chesapeak bay, but details details.

Again @Null. This is one of those things you cannot do over the internet. You have to physically go there and ask around. It's an ironic situation to be sure, having to incorporate what is essentially a internet company by working around the internet, but this is Clown world.

No airports.

No roads.
There are several roads, and you can see cars and trucks in satellite images:

Yes it's remote but these are exaggerations.

it seems kind of mean to pitch to an island of 725 people that they just become Kiwi Farms Island.
If by "mean" you mean "awesome" then yes.

The thing that sets Tangier apart is its ridiculously remote, but unlike most remote places it has High Speed internet over a microwave emitter. The State has done some half hearted efforts at saving the community over the years and that is one of them.

But it is dying. You say 700, but it's actually closer to 400 now and I think TPTB want it to die at this point because then they can blame climate change. You may find a sympathetic ear there with someone.

Lol it's across the bay from where that dogfucker down in St Mary's County lives.
