Looks like team reiswitched rises from the ashes. In the last 2-3 days they went public with their new cfw ReiNX and their discord already has 3000+ people. Not only that but its a team of regular well adjusted males and they have a sense of humor.
Thought I'd bring some new tard cum in here. This post is referring to ReiSwitched accusing him of being a Jew, which I've personally never see them do.
TL;DR ReSwitched is now run by Michael Scires (or ScrotuM as some people would call him) and he fucked over everyone else by making the 7.x exploit use his own burned in boot screen for some reason. ReiSwitched continues to thrive along with every other Nintendo Switch CFW out there except for Atmosphere, which is pretty much still dragging on.
New Lore Alert: Troony Kyle "Kate" Temkin has been banned and removed from reswitched for leaking an unreleased bug to nintendo/nvidia for a bug bounty of up to $200k.
Not sure if worth the necro but here is a small "where are they now" update since he doesn't have his own thread:
He claims to be "mostly hiding while recovering from burnout" and quit open source "for a while" as of Oct 2021.(A) Based on his git history and tweets, he seems to still be doing nothing much, maybe living off money from the Nivida bounty? Temkin's website hasn't been updated since April 2020. (A)
He has been in a relationship with Ara Adkins.(A) since at least Jan of 2022 (link)(A)
Stumbled upon this when looking at Enso, googled the name, found a tweet of Temkin mentioning Ara, and looked for a thread due to how cowish he was in the DYKG video I watched a few days ago.
Update from 2024: Despite SciresM taking over as server owner, nothing else has changed and it's still mostly worthless troons in charge (shoutout to stuckpixel). IMO SciresM shouldn't be excused just because he hasn't shown himself to be a troon personally. He still knowingly hangs out primarily with troons, which likely rubs off in some way. I mean, he's not only a Discord moderator, but a Discord server owner now ffs.
Also I would encourage you to take a look through the list of members that the moderators have deemed worthy of having the "community" role (which I'm sure really inflates their ego). It's mostly users with profiles like this:
