🎩Prepare to get MATI 🎩
I got this idea from another thread. What are the most rage/disappointment/cringe inducing examples of people breaking things that could be considered "relics"?

There's this one where they break a "one of a kind" Wax Cylinder. (old music storage media used for phonographs)
While this one looks like more of a honest accident, and the thing was surely already fragile, the dude had some seriously shaky hands. He also said "Shit" on live broadcast, while the show host (i think?) awkwardly tries to laugh the whole thing off. It's so bad it almost feels staged.

An even more outrageous one i can think of is "The Senator". It was the fifth oldest tree in the world, as well as the oldest tree in the state of Florida. Well, in 2012, some methhead woman burned it down by literally fucking smoking INSIDE the tree. She was retarded enough to tell that to a bunch of her friends, which eventually got her sent to jail serving over two years of prison at first, and then an extended sentence for posession of ~38 grams of Meth. Don't do drugs, kids.

What other shit like this can you recall?
Also, honorable mention to the Xbox Dev Kit ruined by the redditor. Didn't include it because i'm pretty sure most of you already know that one.

This person had a classic Mac II computer, and they completely destroyed it using water, hammers, and generally fucking around with it like lighting the floppy disk drive on fire with a match.
For no reason whatsoever. The video has 383 thousand views with 2,900 dislikes and 4,200 likes.

Actually, this dumbass just destroys anything he gets his hands on.

The comments in his videos are full of edgy people.

Wtf am i the only autist on the planet who doesnt want to destroy everything? Especially priceless Artifacts and Vintage Goods.

I'd love to own and resell some of this stuff, a shame to see it wasted.

Here's a Furry with a fetish for blowing speakers and other tech.

Just one of his many videos.

His blubber could be rendered to keep old style lamps in oil. What a fat fuck shithead.

Couple of years back, there was some Boy Scouts and their troop leader who broke these millions of years old rock formations called "hoodoos" out in Utah and I remember it made people on the Internet talk about it for a while. The troop leader ended up getting discharged and served criminal time apparently.

Gather around farmers. Let me tell you the story of how I most likely destroyed a piece of human history.

When I was a child I was walking home from school and right next to me was a construct site and a mountain full of rubbish they dug out. And I saw a weird shaped stone that looked exactly like a tool from the stone age sticking out.

And since I was interested in these things since I was small I thought I knew what it was, I took it home and used it on another stone to see what happens and after I hit the other stone with it it crumbled into several pieces . I'm still cringing when I think about it. I probably destroyed a historical artifact that was perhaps 10000+ or even 100000+ years old. *sigh* To be fair I was 10 or 11 and didn't expect it to crumble but I wish I would have kept it.

Minor artifacts like this are frequently destroyed anyway. I remember a news piece about some early iron age? arrowheads found in Sweden? that were melted down because the museum that received them had plenty and no space available. Allegedly it's standard practice.
