Best case scenario after this point of no return (and after Scott showed to the people that helped his page get as far as it did how little they matter to him by being an unloyal and retarded coward) is that the friction this caused between various members of the RA staff is to cause tensions to rise to the point that people will do a mass exodus and the page will become shit enough that people will move to greener pastures (if those exists)

I don't believe this garbage will stop going downhill, the page getting shittier day by day and hemorraghing users
 
The folks raising hell aren't even bullies, they're assholes who want to make sure we can only play in their special sandbox with toys they like in the way they approve and throwing a temper tantrum. Since the favorite toy of most of them is the global leaderboard, let's play with that.

If you use retroarch then this patch (you'll have to recompile) will disable restrictions around save state and cheats in hardcore mode. Only tested on linux with v1.21.0, but should be minor changes at most to work with older versions. I don't have an easy way to get anything pre-built for Windows/Mac/mobile, so apologies if you're on those platforms and want to piss in this particular sandbox. If you're running anything like retrobat/retropie/batocera/lakka, it should be easy to include this patch into your install (I've only tested on retropie, but assume the others suppoprt local patches as well).

Scott is a normalfag who had largely distanced himself from the site and has no personal interest in any of this politics shit. The only reason he's getting involved and making calls here is specifically because the tranny band started harassing him and he just wants this to all go away by posting what they want him to post. He's lying through his teeth, but to him it's just a matter of "what can I say to make this stop".

I see this ultimately ending with him stepping down and giving the keys to someone else, this is clearly too much for him to handle and everything he tries to do just makes it worse.

This is why I’ve walked away from a lot of online spaces. This site and a sports forum that’s based and have been apart of since the 90s in one form or another.

Trannies and dogooders have been ruining online spaces. Maybe I’ll just post a, “I’ll pray for you to Jesus to help your mental illness “ on a throwaway account.
 
In this particular case the objection came from outside the site, though. There's definitely trannies on the site and probably staff, but if you look at the original announcement thread clarifying the "everything is allowed as long as it's not illegal" stance, a lot of them were making "I am a person targeted by Clover's writing, and I think it should be allowed and that those that don't want to play it just shouldn't play it" posts. The apolitical stance was a good one that staff clearly respected regardless of their personal thoughts on any individual game.

This is why normalfags can't and shouldn't be site admins. The modern internet is filled with insane leftists who will attack and infiltrate for any power they can with a fervor that the normalfag never thought anyone was autistic enough to do. If you try to be politically neutral, they'll view you as an enemy they'll attack you until you submit. There's no room to be neutral and normal as the owner of an internet space or public project, either you cuck to the tranny hordes or you grow to spite them until you're a chud called for Total Tranny Death.

The only direction these leftists care to go is further left; anything to the right of that is considered counter-revolutionary and an enemy to be either subverted and absorbed or destroyed outright. This is the battlefield, and those are the terms of engagement.

Damn, there needs to be a wiki or reference page or something that you can just drop whenever you spot shit like this being attempted--they all use the same playbook, every time, and the only reason this insanity has gotten as far as it has is because of the face of civility they put on right up until they have enough power to stab you in the back.
