The only reason roosh couldn't resist showing up on a daytime talk show targeted at women who are home in the late morning and early afternoon watching tv (fat) to complain about fat women, is because he just couldn't get over the amount of exposure he would receive even though it wouldn't work in his favor. The guy pretty much just stirs shit intentionally to drum up controversy and keep himself famous. The only part of the 3rd wave radfem book he didn't read was to tone down his insane rhetoric when he gets on tv or in the newspaper and then ramp up the crazy in the presence of his devoted acolytes.

If he did he'd be a lot more dangerous because he's very well spoken and what he's saying makes sense if you're buying into his premises which are often just off the mark facts or at least based around some sort of popular public perception. Somehow hilariously he just doesn't see the stupidity of promoting legalized rape on private property, or telling an audience of hundreds of fat women that what they really need is some shame. Especially when there are reasonable positions he could be taking on these subjects: We should make people aware of how dangerous it is to tell guys no if you don't mean it, we gotta prosecute the few cases where it's proven a woman lied about being raped. Expect that your dating pool will shrink as you get fat, also expect health problems and lots of discomfort, don't think anyone owes you half a seat on the airplane.

In all seriousness this is one of the reasons why ROK exists. It's a shame for a well spoken guy like Roosh resorts to shit like this. For all intents and purposes I somewhat agree in their perspectives about American culture that are toxic but nothing to this extreme. They have a goal and reason for doing this and their winning.

While I don't think that a $200+ stupid looking golf club that takes pics of people, fat women and single mothers are the death of America.

I'd say the similarities are mostly in that neither has a clear and consistent set of beliefs. They have a bunch of weird declarations that are based on whatever happens to make them salty. Their most consistent trait is sperging against feminism and for the patriarchy.

I'm not sure it isn't, but at least some studies say otherwise. As unpopular as shaming is, and negative reinforcement is generally considered (correctly or not) to be less effective than positive reinforcement, it may have merit in some circumstances.

However, Roosh certainly didn't come armed with any facts, and he wasn't even arrogantly certain of himself enough for TV. He just came across as a flailing dick, and frankly as pretty beta. He was nothing like the wolf pack leader he portrays online, and was basically chewed up and spat out.

To be fair it's not about getting sex, IIRC he said he wants it legal so that women don't bait guys on and then leave them with blueballs.. or maybe it was because he thinks too many women think it's cute to tell you to stop when they don't mean it and expect you to guess. If you're a woman it might seem strange to hear but most guys have gotten heavy with a girl at some point who wants sex but says she doesn't only to later ask you whats wrong and why didn't you fuck her. Both situations suck but obviously legalizing rape is a stupid "solution".
