I don't follow roosh closely, but someone I know linked this to me.

Apparently Roosh now bans notable topics, such as "how to bang" on his forum.

Most people who are born again experience repentance and salvation with a deep sense of shame for the past and gratitude for the future. Roosh just restructures.

Call me a Pharisee, but I'll believe it when I see some humility. We've had enough wolves sneak into the fold in the last couple millennia.

Also, who wants to get in the pool on how long before the news media labels him a "leader of the Religious Right"?

No swearing on Roosh’s Christian Minecraft forum. Also he’s now systematically removing all his successful books.

I don't know if he's serious, but Roosh has a vision of a better America which involves UBI -- but only for men. Also state-sponsored foreign girlfriends.

(Also for some reason I keep pronouncing "RooshV" as "Roosh 5.")

I thought he was writing a parody when he started going on about UBI etc but if he's really banning sex talk off his forums and delisting his books then geez, he's taking it awful serious huh?

So many of these redpill/MgTow/incel intersectionalists are socialists. (And no wonder, they all have mommy issues and can't get off the teat.) They'll do anything to stay on welfare of some kind, doesn't matter what it is.

I wonder what his angle is here. Part of Christianity -- true Christianity -- is about honoring women as wives and mothers and men as husbands and fathers. IIRC my politically incorrect history right that's actually how the Spanish conquered South America and penetrated (heh) into Mexico. They spread the Gospel and tribal women flocked to them all over because their spic husbands and boyfriends and fathers and brothers couldn't treat them right. They also intermarried with the white Spanish because the white Spanish treated them better than those same spic husbands and boyfriends and fathers and brothers. But Christianity, in addition to the promise of salvation, also says 'hey you're a human being worthy of respect and Jesus loves you.' Or something like that, it's been a while since Sunday school. A huge, huge part of Christianity is also about owning up to the bad things you did, paying your penance, and doing your best not to do it again.

Roosh 5 doesn't deserve to be taken seriously and at least half of his """exploits""" are made up but if he is serious about becoming a devout Christian than he has a lot of penance to pay, a lot of women to apologize to, and a lot of self reflection to commit to figure out why he became someone that makes money squealing and squealing about hoo-ors. He would also have to admit that he was wrong and that he trapped many vulnerable human beings in a lifetime of loneliness, anger, blame-shifting, and misery. You can't just stop having sex with bar hook ups and ban sex talk while hollering about "wahhh wahman bad." You also have to clean up your language, stop calling women whores and men betas because: they are your neighbors and Christians are commanded to love their neighbors. It's not optional, you have to find a way to love them, and you don't insult people you love. When you do then you are expected to confess and apologize and do something to make up for it.

There's no way Roosh 5 is going to do any of that. I'm not good at figuring out these con artists though so I don't understand the new angle he's trying to take here. There's always going to be whales with deep pockets that will pay out for this stuff, so it's not like he was in danger of running out of money, right?

^I think he got banned from Instagram and ChaseWePay or something like that so he's prob doing this so more places don't ban him and he can continue to make money in conventional ways. Though it's not going to work and him going so far as to call himself a Christian is a bit insulting. If he's going that far he should talk to other Christians/Catholics so he can do it right instead of making a fool of himself.

Golly he's in for a shock. The leftists hate Christians even more than they hate PUAs, if they weren't out for him before they will be now. Other platforms could start running him off on the pre-text that Christians oppress women or something. And what does his fandom think of this? I doubt they're happy he cucked out to a religion based in love.

This also opens him to a lot more criticism from real Christians and oh boy, once you're "one of them" there are letter-writers that really won't hold back because they don't have to be as nice to people who are now in the know. It just takes one viral tweet man...

This'll be interesting to watch and see what landmines he steps on and what kind of hits he takes.

One eyebrow went up when Aurini went full Roman (with eager exceptions for profitable pagan buddies). Now the other eyebrow's up. If I wanna go outside, I'm gonna have to pull a hat down to my nose.

I'm trying very hard to refrain from judging. If he's for real about this, and he's going to do and become better, he needs to be encouraged instead of frightened off from it.

But he could also be playing out the rocky-soil scenario from the Parable of the Soils:

In pertinent part; whole thing is linked said:
"Others (seeds) fell on the rocky places, where they did not have much soil; and immediately they sprang up, because they had no depth of soil. But when the sun had risen, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away."

It could be a showy scam, as always; it could be a shallow, temporary conversion, because the Manosphere has a culture of extreme, over-the-top action and one-upping one another; or it could be for real. Time will tell.

Even assuming his conversion is genuine:

When I was with the Orthodox, about half of them were converts. Of this half there was a small but visible percentage who took a great deal of effort to showcase their metanoia, phronesis and how they have fixed their nous. I'm leaving those ten dollar words untranslated so you could get an idea of how pretentious these fucks were.

I have heard stories (though never saw) of converts dressing up as Russian peasants. What I did see were dudes going to church in cassocks (admittedly, they were in minor orders but DON'T VEST IF YOU'RE NOT SERVING, DUMMY) and another guy wearing a cylindrical Monk's cap for no discernible reason.

It strikes me that Roosh is in the camp of these ostentatious coverts. If he is serious he would do well to read and reread the sermon on the mount until his eyeballs fall out, pray, keep the commandments and generally Shut. The fuck. Up.

Roosh V Forum got noticed by the Australian media because of a thread they have about areas to find Girls

An unnerving guide on how to target women in Melbourne is making the rounds
Just days after the murder of another Victorian woman, a lists have surfaced online which providing predators with a ‘how-to’ guide in regards to singling out and approaching women in Australian cities.
Earlier this week, it was revealed that 25-year-old Courtney Herron had been found murdered in a park in Melbourne’s north.

Although police have since arrested 27-year-old accused killer Henry Hammond in connection with her slaying, the Counting Dead Women project notes that Herron’s death marks the 20th woman killed in Australia at the hands of men this year.
While this already highlights a dangerous trend within the country, a list has begun circulating the internet highlighting the places and methods that men can use to approach and single out women within Melbourne.
Highlighted by Aussie musician Kira Puru on Twitter today, the list originated on a forum back in 2017, which serves as a platform for those who follow and subscribe to the ideologies of controversial “pickup artist” Roosh V.
Roosh V (whose real name is Daryush Valizadeh), is known for his Return Of Kings website, and has repeatedly come under fire in the past for his controversial views which not only promote rape, but also heavily touch upon misogyny and antisemitism.
To provide an example of the sort of beliefs that Roosh V holds, the biography on his website includes a manifesto that features entries that note “a woman’s value significantly depends on her fertility and beauty,” and that “a man’s value significantly depends on his resources, intellect, and character.”
The list in question – which was first published at the end of 2017, and follows another that was published back in 2011 – is part of a section on the forum titled ‘Travel’, which provides subscribers not only a list of places around the world in which it is easiest to approach women, but rates the women on a scale of attractiveness and how likely a successful approach would be.

“This is a carefully curated list of places in the Melbourne CBD where you can approach women during the day,” the post begins. “The datasheet is based on my personal experiences living in the CBD from 2016-2017, weighted more heavily towards the second half of 2017.”
Noting that Melbourne Central Woolworths and the Professors Walk Café at the University of Melbourne are the best “daygame venues”, the author of the list explains this is due to “the consistent high turnover rate (and hence quantity) of solo girls 5/10 and above, and the logistical setup making it very easy/natural to open/approach girls.”
“We know game is a numbers game and hence these venues allow you to approach a large quantity of girls in a short amount of time,” they write. “I have included other venues for the sake of variety and in the event that these venues become saturated with men (wink).”
Rating the University of Melbourne café as a “5.6/10”, the author advises readers to sit near an area were customers wait for drinks and approach them then. “Otherwise when a girl you like is near the water refill station go get a glass and casually open her,” they write.
“You essentially have access to all girls that enter this venue using the tactic aforementioned, and the turnover rate is incredibly high,” the list reads. “Staff play music that makes it difficult for people to eavesdrop on your conversation if that is something that bothers you.”
“My top pick for passive daygame during university semesters. I love this place.”

The list, which spans almost 2,000 words and even features a flowchart, has been commented on numerous times by others sharing their own experiences, as well as providing further tips on seeking out women of varying ethnicities.
Amazingly though, this is not the only list available, with cities all over the world receiving these sickening guides, and Australian cities like Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, and Launceston all serving as the focus for tips from followers of Roosh V.
While a planned trip to Australia in 2016 was cancelled, it’s sickening to know that followers of Roosh V not only exist in this country, but that they have taken it upon themselves to impart their wisdom to others on how to approach and single out women for their own selfish and potentially dangerous causes.
As Kira Puru urged people in her recent Tweet; “Please be careful. Cis men — call this out. Stand against it. Be better.”

I see legitimate reasons why Roosh could have turned to God too, with the recent death of his sister and general expression of
Meaninglessness of life. Those are things that can spur spiritual contemplation so it’s vety possible at least some aspect is genuine.

He started a 6-month long vlog series called "Babylon Road". It's a series showcasing his very Terry Davis-esque travel around the country.
He's travelling around Massachusetts and New York in this one.

In an article on how casual sex creates guilt, Roosh goes off on a tangent claiming interracial dating creates guilt as well.

the article said:
Another example comes from interracial relationships. When a person seeks a partner outside of their race, guilt is created, and that gets projected against the very race they have amorous feelings for. [...] I have to conclude that we are wired to reproduce with a similar race as ourselves, and when we choose not to do that, guilt is created and then projected as race activism.

So this is basically a more verbose rendition of "Well, if you like niggers so much, why don't you marry 'em????"
