when my cat died i had his skull cleaned and displayed in our house. now i sound like a complete psychopath but hopefully this context is more understandable:
i wanted a better, more easily recognizable reminder of him than just ashes and pawprints, and he had funny teeth. so i got his skull cleaned by someone who actually does a lot of pets and now he's on our bookshelf my sweet little budy
