@Avenue found the email theultimatereaper2@yahoo.com via breach.vip due to the matching "deathnote1" and "deathnote" passwords.


I further investigated this and confirmed it was his email by searching on Snusbase and found the same IP address from the Wattpad breach "71.104.253.148". Note that he was found in a breach for a site called "zoosextube".

I think my favorite part about a dox is the methodology because I find it really cool and educational how one misstep with opsec, like reusing emails and passwords, can completely fuck you over later down the line. Especially the passwords part. My entire understanding of why that's a bad practice is other accounts being compromised after a breach, but it never occurred to me that the password could be a common link between different emails.
