If it hasn't been apparent yet, it is now: Spencer is getting fucked in the ass... judicially speaking. Him and everyone else who helped organize UTR will be ruined into oblivion once the judgements start getting handed down. No matter how many connections he has, no matter how much left-wing ass kissing he does, no matter how many people he tries to throw under the bus, it isn't going to get him out of this.

Spencer pushes a blackpilled worldview that has him wrap around to supporting libs due to how pessimistic he is about everything regarding how right wingers could handle things. Denouncing Kyle is due to figuring everyone should just assume the riots will be lawless hellzones where rioters can do as they please without police interfering so anyone going there must be an idiot pretending to be police themselves.

How hypocritical is it though that Spencer doesn't want to admit that Charlottesville was a really stupid idea? Let's throw Kyle to the wolves (i.e. the same people who want to put him behind bars) but he deserves a better fate because, why exactly? That's mostly a rhetorical question, I'm 95% sure the guy got flipped by the glowies.

Reminder that Rich was a trust-fund kid whose family actually palled around with the Bushes and other elites. People use the term "LARPing" a lot in these spheres, but not a lot of people explain what they really mean by it. LARPing is engaging in an unrealistic ideal about one's self and what one can achieve, and it is something people do when they can't think of realistic solutions to problems. The "alt right" was much more practical in the 2016 election, and many different forms of LARPing became prominent in 2017 during the Charlottesville scandal and the growing disillusion with Trump's presidency as the general despair grew among them.

Spencer is LARPing as some kind of leader, but it is hard to pin him down due to his intellectual style (broad but shallow). I suspect his main inspiration is James Bond villains, given his admitted love of the series.

The image was from 2016, I think, so it's probably a little outdated. It's just supposed to express the stupidity of this kind of elitist gatekeeping. Spencer wants a more enlightened movement, but attacks people who aren't already all the way on his side.

LOL, and he did this by heiling Trump and openly associationg with Neo-Nazis to own da libz. Spencer would have been fine if he would have stuck to a style and stayed with it. If you look at some old footage of him talking at white nationalist meetings, you get the image that he wants to be the Jared Taylor of the new generation; someone who is good-looking, well dressed, articulate and someone from whom 'normies' won't immediately flee from. However, once Trump gets into the scene, it seems like he also wanted to be the new, edgy guy who heils Trump, talks about 'lugenpresse' and who calls protesters at his speeches fat and ugly.

These two styles don't mix very well together, and I believe the 'alt-right' would have had more success if it had continued the style of Taylor and other older white nationalists, though since it was a movement of young, excited men, it's no surprise how quickly it fell apart. I can't imagine how in a million years Spencer thought that heiling Trump or openly marching with spergs at Charlottesville was going to further his cause. Of course the media tries to spin his message and takes clips out of context, but when someone like Jared Taylor speaks, one must confront the truth that a lot of what he says is reasonable and sane.

I'm kind of puzzled why people are rooting against Spencer. As much of an asshole as he is, what law did he break? Why would you cheer on what's basically a show trial being conducted by Jews and antifa?

I don't think anyone is cheering on the trial. It is just the fact that we have no sympathy for Spencer given how he has acted since. He is a vindictive, pathological egomaniac who wanted to grift and play the token neo-nazi for the media only to now find out that no amount of connections or sucking up will prevent them from coming after you. He's tried sicking them on other people like Ramzpaul or Fuentes over the years for going against him, but now we are expected to feel sympathy for him?

I feel sympathy for the marchers who attended only to get beaten and doxxed for simply speaking out for what they thought was a just cause. I have no sympathy for an attention-whore like Spencer who doesn't even care about the cause or anyone but himself.

I agree. When (let’s face it) they lose, it will be used as precedent to just nail anyone who they don’t like, including places like Kiwi Farms. Seems pretty stupid to cheer this farce on.

As a reminder, Spencer obtained the permits and Unite the Right was 100% legal; the police intentionally (per a 2018 independent review that led to the police chief resigning) stood down and let antifa do whatever they felt like. In the chaos, James Fields caused some fat tub of lard to die from a heart attack. Ever since then, the powers that be are hellbent on doing to Spencer what they did to Tom Metzger in the 1990s.

Spencer is a faggot but it doesn’t take away how much of a travesty this show trial is and how bad things will get if he loses.

Charlottesville was just some delusional retards thinking that Trump was literally Hitler, and that they suddenly had some institutional backing. They were big enough fools to believe all the lies used car salesman Donald told them. Every time Hitler 2 failed them, they just formulated copes and adjusted their world views accordingly. The lack of understanding of how politics work was their downfall.
