Inactive Richard "Lowtax" Kyanka - Deadbeat (emphasis on "Dead") founder of Something Awful, forced out of his own community, on his second divorce, stuck his dick in crazy, "Birth Giver"

Rich shaved his beard and got a haircut so he is presumably reading this thread.

It's amusing that he is most likely far more welcome here than the SA forums because KF just laughs at people whereas SA actively tries to ruin their life/career.
Unironically KF is closer to early 2000's SA in humor with the exception of furfags running freely without prosecution.
Everything changed slowly by 2003-04 and really kicked off with Shmorky being exposed a year or so after joining as other goons started to find out what and who he was prior to that.
This incident really pissed off Lowtax to the point where he mass banned people even mentioning it and started to hold a vendetta against /b/tards and 4chan as a whole.
The funny thing is outside of his snarky one liners, Lowtax was a huge glass cannon. Guy would immediately freak out over the slightest provocation. If anyone remembers how he banned a comic circling around in 2007 depicting the lead designer of Assassins Creed since he got a threat by Ubisofts Lawyers. Lowtax was too fucking stupid to realize that French laws do not effect him since he's a US citizen.

Google leads me to believe its this guy

As for what's going on, who knows.
I'm going to guess.... he's going to #metoo richard for being a foot-pest.

That or gave testimony against lowtax in the divorce hearing.

I am just speculating here. But I think lowtax is having a bout of "the world owes me"

Back when alot of people got spring boarded off of SA like the MEGA 64 people. Yatzee, etc.

Oh fuck remember how lowtax needs money from minecraft?

yeah most likely after getting rapped in court lowtax is thinking about all the money he is "owed"

Or I might have this totally wrong

You'd think a guy who recently sold his business of over 20 years would be able to bear the financial hit. Unless, for example, he already pissed away most of the money on bullshit like booze, pills, mail order pastries or sports car payments. I'm not accusing Richard of doing anything that irresponsible though.

Don’t forget having a massive tax bill hanging over your head like the Sword of Damocles.

Again I m just making shit up in my head.

Side story I know a mid 30's couple (with no kids) rumor is they inherted their house. They called me a few months ago asking if I could help them find a buyer. Seems their was a plumbing issue and they were so traumatized over dealing with it they just wanted to sell the house and run.

Talking with them they truly lacked any concept of home ownership, and how blessed they were to have a place free and clear. It seemed like this one not cheap but fixable issue was the end of the world for them.

I think richard was more worried about his next fix and the end of his pateron that he cut a deal with jeff.

Ah Patreon. I've not checked on that for a few weeks. It's now less than $200 per month.

He's somehow a worse streamer than DSP. He could be working at a gas station for 15 hours a week and make more money than his stream, less effort too probably.
Working at a gas station means showing up on time, ringing up customers at the cash register, etc. None of these things are anything Richard wants to do.

The irony of this is especially entertaining when he’s fucked over so many content creators over the years. It eventually cost him millions in potential opportunities. Now he’s broke, likely almost spent through all of his SA sale money, and has to find a way to pay legal fees, including a $5,000 GAL bill. Rather than regretting his dumb decisions, like any addict he blames everyone around him and everyone he used to know.

Honest question: was there anything to this accusation regarding the designer for Assassin's Creed?
