Rick and Morty

I dispise Morty's rant this episode.

Now people have been rushing to this saying that it's Roiland comdeming tumblr. However it's not. It's him trying to defend a bland episode. Saying that this is someone else's type of humor

To which I respond "then why aren't I laughing"

What? The episode where Summer complains about all the juvenile violence in the alternate TV show ads, and Morty throws a bitch-fit at her?

Meanwhile, Morty spazzes out, whines, and cries in almost every episode at least once.

Oh, and @Cosmos , now I'm dying to see:

Mr. Meseeks breaks Rick out of prison.

CAAAAN DOOOOO!!!

I really like this show, I watched most of the episodes of the first season and I enjoyed them all. The animation is beautiful, the worlds are amazing, there are some beautiful scenes and it's funny as all heck. What's not to like?

Holy fuck, that new episode was crazy. In summary...

This finale was insanely emotional. I never thought I'd get so invested in this show!

We need a date for season 3 now. Except, in the words of Mr. Poopybutthole, it could be a year and a half... or longer :c
Having just watched it,
that ending was pretty bittersweet, emphasis on bitter.
While the Smiths are able to return and things could be better for Jerry, Rick pretty much turned himself in and has no doubt lost two of the closest friends he has. On the bright side, his friend Squanchy may of killed Bird Person's killer, assuming he managed to and they don't rely on the reveal showing that she survived Squanchys attack.

Some of the episodes of the second season that were mentioned here? Really though, the show itself is good. Especially with the dialogue since, as one Kiwi mentioned, wasn't rehearsed with a script. It was improvised if I recall correctly. Also, with an episode from the second season, I like how they handled it with a hive mind.
Said hivemind isn't some cliched "evil" force but rather a decent being. Meanwhile, the society she formerly conquered showed that depsite having their free will, they screwed themselves over.

Bird Person's dead.

Earth has changed.

Rick turned himself in for the sake of his family.

Have to wait for god knows how long till season 3 premiere.

Dammit all. Why is this show so good?
I love/hate that they had to tease us in the post credit scene.
"Oh wow guys, who knows how all this is gonna turn out, huh? See you in a year and a half! Or more...."
It's agonizing, but it is kinda funny to watch someone who knows that they have the good shit tease us with it.

I finished watching all of Rick and Morty. I thought the second season wasn't as good as the first, but it was still a lot of fun. My favorite episodes in the first season were probably "Ricksty Minutes" and "Something Rickked This Way Comes". My favorite episodes in the second season were probably "Look Who's Purging Now" and "These Ricks Must be Crazy"
The only episode I didn't like as much was probably "Auto-Erotic Assimilation" but it has its moments for sure, and provides insight on Rick's past life. I'm looking forward to seeing how they follow up "The Wedding Squanchers" in season 3.

Anybody else hopes the script during Rick's speech really was exactly what was written in that piece of paper?

Holy shit I just discovered Rick and Morty, this is filling the hole Futurama left... and it's willing to go dark when it needs to.

Now I have a idea about Rick, he's Morty but older, I mean Ricks been around and seen a lot and that could be explained by starting young many times over as Morty slowly turning into rick. That explains the Box of Time Travel Stuff on his shelf, and the existence of Evil Morty.

I marathoned it a few months back. Each time I consider doing it again, I find I can't because it won't make new episodes come quicker.

You ever hear of the Evil Morty theory? It goes that Evil Morty is Rick's original Morty, the one from the opening credits that is left behind in the opening credits against frog monsters. Rick actually cared about this Morty, and was there for him growing up (as seen by him having flashbacks to Morty as a baby as well as having a picture of baby Morty at Birdperson's). This makes him the "Rickest Rick," the one Rick who didn't conform and abandon his family 20 years ago. In grief, he went to another dimension and is posing as their Rick like in Rick Potion No 9. But, he's also trying not to be as attached to his new Morty as he was to his original.

I found out about Rick and Morty because I was interested in the guy who voiced Lemongrab on Adventure Time.

Or like most fan theories, it could just be a fucking TV show and everyone's digging too deep

I saw this theory a while back that I liked.
It'd be cool if they did something like this. Seeing as how Krombopolous Michael is so adored by the fandom, there's no way they can't bring him back somehow, especially with these observations in mind.

A word for word reenactment by Rick and Morty of an actual insane court case

It gets even better when you see what the defendant looked like.
