Rick Perry drops out of race

He must be busy setting up Texas to secede from the union, much like he tried to do in 2012 when Obama won a second term. A man has to have his hobbies, after all.

Rick Perry is a welcoming sign that even a candidate who obligingly hits all the biographical and rhetorical hot points to satisfy Republican voters can still drop out through sheer force of fuck ups. He was like a less competent Bush Jr, since at least Bush Jr could memorise his talking points.

So anybody care to speculate on who will drop out next? My money's on John Kasich

Now he has ample time to fellate dem corn dogs!

At this point of you're behind Ted Cruz in the polls just give up, all hope is lost. If you can't get more support than the guy who put the public sector on snooze and called net neutrality "the obamacare of the internet" you're done son.

TIL Jimmy McMillan is running.

Who?

No seriously, I honestly never heard of his involvement in these debates. And even if Trump and Bush weren't running. I'm pretty sure I still would have heard next to nothing about his involvement.

Kasich is surging in New Hampshire and second only to Trump there, why would he drop out?

Lindsay Graham or Bobby Jindal are probably next.

He just seems generally out of sync with what the GOP wants, although I'll admit I didn't know about the New Hampshire 'surge'.
Kasich is cannibalizing Bush's support in New Hampshire as he comes off increasingly entitled and petulant thanks to his slapfight with Trump. He's probably one of the more likely contenders to actually win at this point.

When you can't even pay your own staffers, yeah, you're kind of up Shit's Creek without a paddle
John McCain was in the same boat around this time in 2007, but he managed to turn it around. Then again, he wasn't under felony indictment like Perry currently is.
