Don't worry, it's paid for handsomely! I am a failed artist of several years and I have immense respect for artists of all levels of talent. I don't know if you followed the incident with Starfish but I had so much respect for her as an artist I was even willing to cut Car0lyn, the main character out of the Watch Ur Mouth just so she'd feel more comfortable. As rewarded intellectually I get from seeing my own ideas and visions conceptualized I want to do the same for the artist financially if they can illustrate them perfectly!

I'm actually going to jump on the "I love the art style!" bandwagon. It's really well done!

I might have glossed over it, but why are these hosted on imgur and not on your own domain, or even something like www.thecomicseries.com? If the writing is half as good as the visuals, you'd get tons of hits if it was more easily findable.

Hey thanks, I'll def tell J about the compliment! The writing is definitely NOT as good as the art but I'm polishing it as well as I possibly can!

My original dream was to make a website on the level of my heroes https://web.archive.org/web/20090917152032/http://shreddedmoose.com/ and write a blog to accompany each comic but I haven't found anyone on that level yet sadly. I dunno if anyone in this thread knows any site designers who can work on a college kid's budget. But if you do, I'm just an email away!

I am using my tumblr for the time being cuz at least that has an audience of 43 followers (gasp) and I don't really worry about people stealing the comics since they're unfinished anyways and unless you're a really talented artist, the art's kinda hard to imitate.

Come on, don't pull the whole mock "concerned" thing like the Something Awful goons did. Of course I need help and I'm going to the doctor tomorrow to discuss my gender issue among other things but still, I do want to fit into a community somewhere! I'm completely harmless and I adore anyone who isn't a bully or hurtful to other people. Yeah, I mess around sometimes but I never mess around with anyone who has a caring heart. (so most hateful SJs and trolls are excluded but I love people who just want to be loved and accepted!)

I also friggen love the wacky adventures of Christian Weston Chandler and I've unconsciously assimilated most of his lore to the point everything up to poor ol Bob dying. I dunno, its really fascinating to read in your spare time, makes you feel like a armchair psychologist sorta!

It just seems to me some people use this statement to hand wave all my *mostly* coherent opinions and discussions. To me the infamous "get therapy" that so many goons uttered at me (EVEN AFTER I GOT MEDICATED AND HAVE BEEN DOING CBT FOR THE LAST FEW WEEKS...seriously) was just the nice way of saying "fuck all your opinions, you're crazy and they don't matter."

I think they're worthless for being sexist and racist shit stains. That's the reason I let them dig themselves into a ditch. I wouldn't recomend sympathizing with them cuz they aren't capable of empathy, sympathy or any thing else involving care or considerationo for other human beings
