Hello everybody and welcome to RimHolocaust. Basically, I've downloaded a bunch of race mods in rimworld, as well as Gas Traps and Shells, along with a few other mods I enjoy, and we're going to try to holocaust the fuckin planet. Simple premise, difficult task.

We will of course be starting with crashlanded with Cassandra Classic on. I know a lot of people like Randy but I'd rather not have this run start with a stampede of 40 rhinos fucking my shit in backwards. Also holy shit look at all this fuckin anime garbage the sidebar is filled with. I guess these races come with their own storytellers too.

I prefer mountainous environments, I feel too exposed without a mountain to hide in. Plus we've got lots of neighbors around to keep things interesting.

Moving on from my obvious blunder, let's actually get into the game.

One of them came with a book on anima drugs. I guess books are new, I haven't played the new update yet but I guess we can get research from books now.

Frankly I'm not impressed, for a mountainous tile it's shockingly exposed, and I'm really not great at building defenses in open areas. Oh well!

Plans placed down for growing potatoes and cotton, a pen for the donkey we spawned with, and a simple wooden barracks that'll house us for now.

Some nearby ruins have some free goodies laying around. A battery and a power cell, some furniture, and a heater. We'll be living in comfort from the start, if the trio ever finds time to move it from the bottom of the map to the barracks.

Oh, that's an entire fully built geothermal power generator on the opposite side of the map. It'll be a nightmare to defend but that's a ton of free power if we can hook it up.

Doctor gets a bit torn up fighting a mad goose, which sucks because once we use up our medicine we're kinda fucked since I can't plant healroot.

After he recovers we get our first raid, not really worth talking about because early game raids are usually just a fat dude or a teenager, naked and rushing you with a knife.

Doctor interrupts Lorenzo dealing with some uppity wildlife to pester us about naming the settlement. We'll name it Sneed Today, in honor of the best domain we've ever had. Also yes Lorenzo has both mechanites, he is in constant pain but god damn is he getting shit done.

With Doctor elected our Dear Feeder and Lorenzo as his Janny, we begin our first MATI stream to increase our development points and hopefully attract some drifters to the farms.

We immediately begin construction of our makeshift oven/gas chamber. Unfortunately we don't actually have the technology to run either just yet.

A filthy xeno lands in our borders soon after. As much as I'd love to let her bleed out and die, we take her in and stabilize her. We are not animals, we have LAWS. Once we're set up better we'll hold a trial, and if we find her guilty of being xeno filth then we will execute her as Null intended.

As a sign that we made the correct choice, Null sends us a message of approval from beyond. Our very own electric hedgehog pokemon. It's a girl, so we name her Rosechu.

Unfortunately no one shows up to take her place because the next MATI stream is godawful and Doctor should be ashamed of himself.

Everyone's really sad that we aren't raiding and killing enough xenos, and frankly terrible at harvesting plants, so we're sending a small raiding party down to a nearby camp to murder them and steal their food.

We get the drop on them and are significantly better armed, they don't even get a shot off before they're dropped. The xeno of the two tribals survives the encounter and we take him prisoner as part of our spoils. What we do with him remains to be seen.

With that raid, we're now developed enough to amend our Ideoligion. If anyone has any suggestions on how we should change things, or just in general, I'm open to hearing it. Also if you'd like me to name a colonist after you, let me know. I will warn you, the bug man will probably be dying a gruesome death in the near future because I don't like him, even if he's """technically""" a """human""" xenotype.

I'd like to preemptively defend myself by stating that BB bodytype mod is a prerequisite mod for one of the races and that titties will not stop the genocide.

I ended up picking Rancher as our new Ideoligion pick, which sounded like a fun idea at the time but as you'll see will cause some problems later on because farming edible crops will make everyone very sad and not farming edible crops will make everyone very hungry (At least until our ranch is bigger.)

While the caravan is on its way home we start building a massive expansion to our pen so we can start to subsist off of our animals eventually.

In hindsight though, maybe I should've had them hunt a bit before we sent them and the rest of our food out. Oh well. As you can see I've set up a mining operation so we can hopefully dig into and entrench ourselves within the mountain.

We give Erika one of our psylink neuroformers and have her develop her first skill. Basegame, they're random and not very in-depth, but I'm running a mod that makes them level up, gaining xp when they recharge, and allowing them to modify stats or work with specific skilltrees and such.

We were gonna save the second one but Doctor goes fucking berserk and decides he's going to destroy it, so we quickly make Lorenzo use it to keep it from being wasted.

A rare animal from some mythology mod I installed wanders in. I normally wouldn't pay it any mind but it looks like this one heals wounds if we tame it, and we've got some very good animal handlers and no medicine so why not?

Constantine enters a deep comatose state from having gone too long without go-juice. Turns out whatever he is, he's biologically dependent on the stuff and will eventually die if we don't get him some. Seeing as he's our only other competent soldier now that Doctor is gone, we're a bit fucked.

So, to recap, I'm looking for suggestions on the following:
Should we use the transponder to make a colonist a mechanist?
What do we do with the slave girl, now that she's served her purpose? I'm tempted to just keep her permanently enslaved because it makes everyone happy.
The child we picked up, he's a xeno but he's just a kid. Do we gas him? Wait for him to grow up, then enslave him? What do?

I bet they're happy, her tits are at eye level. Make the (crash)site safe for work and gas her.
