At least in that, he was probably just exaggerating his beliefs about 10x to bait people stuck in the hugbox.

Though, imo, that should be even more welcome.

Hard disagree.

When Bernie lost Super Tuesday, Ashy came back and explained that they were at a furry convention out of town and had just gotten home, and they posted for a while. It wasn't until things got really dire for Bernie and he had all but dropped out of the race that Ashy totally went dark.

It's also possible that Ashy lives in an area hit really hard by the COVID-19 pandemics and due to the quarantine measures, couldn't keep their internet from getting cut down.

If Ashy comes back after the lockdowns have largely ended and people can start paying bills more easily, then maybe you might be right. Until then, I'm assuming a suicide or at least an attempted suicide followed by hospitalization.

Agreed. I used to hate Ashy when he first showed up on the site, but over time, I grew to begrudgingly tolerate and later on accept them as it became obvious Ashy wasn't just a gimmicky troll like tuscan is.

I always assumed Ashy was either a troon/trender or just a male who discussed trans rights all the time because they're a far-left furry, but did we ever get full confirmation that Ashy was transgender?

Ashy was often grating at times, but was sincere and looking back, I think I was too harsh on him and he took a lot of the banter on here in stride, especially later on.

Now I feel kind of bad about this the more I think about it. Especially if he really did commit suicide.

Eh, I'm probably just being an emotional idiot in all this and jumping to conclusions like an autist.

Still, it's a bad idea to kill yourself over politics.

As Ashy passes into the nether, Tuscan has risen in their place. And as they too will eventually be gone from our fruit farm, another Marxist will rise to carry the torch for their fallen comrades.
 
was thinking the other day about how i hadn't seen them post in a while
i miss them getting overly argumentative with people they knew in advance had almost polar opposite viewpoints from them and would never agree
it was highly comedic for the amount of effort at something so futile

Thanks for following though with my idea!

I guess this is evidence that some people take presidential candidates a bit too seriously. We've showed more compassion and worry towards @Ashy the Angel than Bernie Sanders. Or even the community he/she is part of. Hell, Bernie doesn't even know who he/she is.

He/she had charm, reminded me of Vrakks a little. Regardless, I hope he/she found peace. If they're still alive, don't take a politican's words to heart. They don't care much about you when the cameras stop rolling.

I actually wouldn't mind if Tuscan disappeared for a time.
 
Ashy was nice, people were just mean to them because they were a commie (or was pretending to be one). I appreciated having them around for variety and different takes considering most of A&N is a right-wing hugbox. I think some people on A&N appreciated Ashy too, considering their comment point score went from being in the negatives to being in the positives over the course of several months.
 
While Ashy is/was someone I didn't agree with on pretty much everything, and found grating a few times, I'll echo what a few others have said in that I can (begrudgingly) respect them for actually being sincere and passionate in what they believe. I might think their beliefs are flat-out moronic, but I have more respect for someone who sticks to their guns and can occasionally make a decent argument instead of just screeching and acting like a dipshit 12 year old trying to impress their peers.

On that note, come back, Ashy. We'd rather have you than that 'tard Tuscan
