RIP Thread

Saw one of these fuckers just last week.

It looks like a discount Akira bike

Very ahead of its time as well, their problem was they tried to sell it as a serious alternative to a car or a motorbike rather than a fun summer toy.
A modern test drive (test ride?) of a Sinclair C5, along with a nose around.

The trouble is that Sir Clive was so desperate to be taken seriously that he didn't seem happy enough with the simple act of making money. Had he not been so hung up on his image, he would have died with Lord Sugar-tier wealth rather than pissing his money away on commercial failures like the QL and the C5.

I'll watch Micro Men again tonight and pour one out for Sir Clive.

Out of all the things Sir Clive made, I always wanted one of these bad boys:

The pisser is that they broke easy but with what we now know about static management, you could probably make a more resilient Black Watch. This would go nice with my Mondaines.

Still really upset about norm macdonald. Losing him was a national tragedy, like that one on 9/11.

Man I remember as a kid him not even trying to be funny and just calling OJ Simpson a murderer over and over. Even then I knew he was a riot. His boss was a huge fan boy of OJ pissed him off lol.

Go back and watch the Bob Saget roast Comedy Central did years back. Norm was the best part of the entire show. He does these incredibly cheesy softball jokes you’d find on popsicle sticks, and while the audience is groaning or unresponsive the rest of the group gets it and is cracking up. Good stuff
