And to think her death happened a couple of days after Irene Cara. We lost two great voices in one week.

That's a fair call. There are parallels between Fleetwood Mac and Pink Floyd in that they both had highly influential yet slightly loopy founding members (Peter Green and Syd Barrett respectively), and both bands' sound changed after said founding members left. Both bands kinda lost the plot in the '80s, though to be fair very few musical artists from the '60s managed to get through the '80s completely unscathed.I said this in another thread, but Fleetwood Mac should be in the same conversation as Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin. You may have never heard of their music, but to say that they are not influential and historic is just downright dishonest.

Former Chinese President Jiang Zemin dies at 96

A couple days late to this thread, but Fleetwood Mac is my favorite band. I'm obviously a Stevie stan but I adore Christine as well. Got the news via a text and my heart sank. Like Kiyoshi Kobayashi's death, I was saddened despite knowing that she died peacefully and after a very long life. I didn't realize she was almost 80. I've been listening to Fleetwood Mac for as long as I can remember; I definitely sang "Little Lies" when I was a preschooler.
I am especially grateful that I saw Fleetwood Mac in concert now.
He died peacefully with his family by his side. Though, it’s a shame that he lived long enough to see the show turn into something that does not represent children in the best of light.
Aline Kominsky-Crumb, wife of Robert Crumb, has died of pancreatic cancer at 74.
Rest in peace to one of the few non woke shills in Hollywood.
The Sword and the Sorceror was a revelation to young teen SITHRAK, along with The Beastmaster and Conan.
In the late 90s he was everywhere in my home. My grandma loved watching his Judge Mills Lane show, and I was all about Celebrity Deathmatch. Dude suffered a pretty bad stroke in the early 2000s that left him in really rough shape. RIP
The ironic part was that for me on yesterday, I watched Mills Lane referee the fight between Tyson and Holyfield where Tyson bit his ear twice, and the fact that Lane had so much self-restraint to control Tyson from doing it a third time was pretty impressive.
