While I was in Japan. Argentina Coral happened to die (May 20, 2023). Those outside of Spain most likely only remember her for this album cover.

Jane Birkin, British born actress and singer who found fame in France, died at 76.
These days, Jane Birkin is probably more famous for being the inspiration behind the Birkin bag. Women completely lose their shit over those, despite the fact it costs as much as a small car. Then there's the waiting list...

DJ Deeon, star of Chicago house music scene, dies aged 56. DJ and producer whose ‘ghetto house’ sound became widely celebrated had suffered numerous health issues in recent years.

He had survived cancer treatment, a series of strokes, quadruple bypass surgery, and a leg amputation in recent years

His music was catchy, very danceable and good for a laugh. Stripped down and minimal house with lyrics about fucking bitches. He reminded me of Patrice O’Neal in music form. Obviously being fat did him in and I’m surprised he lasted this long with all those health issues.

Pancreatic cancer. That's some rough shit. Too bad, he was one of a kind.

I’m not even trying to be spooky here, but for the last couple of months when I was interested in learning more about cybersecurity that I was introduced to this gentlemen about how he was able to get away with hacking. He was gracious enough to even tell his story about why he did what he did and this book was a national bestseller because of it.

It’s wild that no one in the IT field knows that much about him, but between this book and Secrets and Lies: Digital Security in a Networked World I recommend you guys to read either or.

He will not only be missed, but it’s just insane to think that two months ago that a guy who I happened to find out randomly is now gone towards the afterlife.
