Wait what the fuck? I thought he died in prison a few weeks after being caught? I thought everyone accepted that as a fact, hence why noone really ever talked about it. But he was alive this whole time and only died recently?
Come to think of it, I don't even remember where I got that information from. Fuck the Internet. Fuck Australia. Hope my nigga has the most succulent chinese meals in the afterlife.

No he was actually released almost immediately on bail.

The dude may have actually been guilty of a bunch of other shit but he apparently wasn't guilty of whatever they arrested him for, or at least they couldn't prove it.

Long story short: there was a string of dine-and-dashes going on at the time and Jack was basically in a "wrong place/wrong time" situation.
