Another uncle of mine passed away an hour ago; he actually had no pulse earlier today so I’m not surprised.

I used to be scared of him when I was little, to the point I’d hide behind a cushion whenever he entered the room. He felt so bad that he’d bring me Swedish Fish to make up for it. Nice guy who always liked to joke around, which made him losing the ability to speak all the more harsh.

I had a great-aunt I was terrified of as a little tyke. She used to yell at me if I didn't answer quick enough (as a 3 year old) and laugh at me when I'd cry from it. One morning I remember thinking 'i'll get her' and ran downstairs to where she was sitting, kicked her in the shin and ran back upstairs. ;) My parents still talk about it and laugh to this day. Aunt Dot is long gone and I don't think too many people mourned her.

I feel ya fam, I wish my great aunt was at least forgivable like your uncle was.
