His (and brother Tim's) Lord of the Rings Art was especially iconic, it looked like the old masters, classically painted before digital anything existed.
In card art this Marvel set is peak 90s and impressive stuff.

It's always the quiet ones. IMO he is a kind of low-key hero.
Also Phil's wife was indeed a deranged BPD attention whore but I think she was genuinely off her tit on the combo of meds and cocaine at the time and literally had no idea what she was doing. That doesn't make it okay since after all she chose to get that way. Andy Dick wasn't forcing her nose down into the cocaine. But I think he was actually morally worse than she was even though she pulled the trigger.
At least she had the decency to off herself after her vile deed.

This man was responsible for making Thriller the album as it is today, while making We Are The World the soulful version of John Lennox’s Imagine.
He practically defined the 70’s to 2000’s in a way most music producers, songwriters and composers could wish they achieve.
