It's been pretty obvious from the content of his music for years that he struggled with depression. I don't know if he was getting any treatment for that, but he should have been.
 
RIP Organic section of the salad bar. You will be missed by that one woman who always came in just as I was closing the salad bar, and no one else.

Edit: Scratch that, make it that one woman and another woman.

Hearing about Peter Sallis was a real kick in the pants. Me and my mum are now marathoning Wallace and Gromit in his honor.
