RIP Thread

I was never a fan of radio but I felt bad for the guy because his name became toxic after what he said about the black woman's basketball team and how rapper David Banner used his name as example of racism in the media and entertainment industry. Like man, imagine how bad it must feel for Imus to have been used as an example of racism for one comment with no mercy.

I listened to Stern instead. But I always felt bad that Imus suffered so much for that comment.

RIP Neil Innes, the man who successfully sued Oasis for ripping off a Beatles parody song.

If you ever had Monty Python's live albums at the Hollywood Bowl and Drury Lane you have heard some of his songs. They also got a lot of play on Dr. Demento.

This is the one Oasis stole.

And this is probably the biggest hit of the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band.

He also played the leader of Sir Robin's minstrels in Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

The best part was that when that scandal first happened some news outlets showed pictures of the Rutgers Women's Basketball Team as B-roll while doing voiceovers before they realized... well, you know...
