Frank Gifford died. Or as I know him from watching years of daytime tv with my mom, kathie lee's husband.

RIP Lenny B. Robinson, a.k.a. Maryland Batman. Known for spending upwards of $25000 a year on gifts for sick children whom he visited in hospital, Lenny brought joy to many lives. The world is a sadder place for this loss.

RIP Morgan Freeman's goddaughter. Poor sweetheart was attacked by a lunatic and ripped from her family far before her time.

Terry Pratchett died. This is terrible. Also just to enflame the old argument in this thread, Margaret Thatcher was one of the greatest politicians we as a country have been blessed to be ruled by. She masterfully handled the Falklands War and prevent Arthur Scargill from staging a communist coup funded by Muanmar Ghadaffi.

It has been nearly a year since your passing, Sophia, and it still hurts me so. You were a pioneer, an advocate, even to some an extremist. You wanted to change the face of what you did. You'd experienced first hand the damage that force and abuse could cause. You dedicated your life to trying to stop it forever. You spent years researching and proving them all wrong. You showed from both a scientific and an applied standpoint that kindness was so much more beneficial than force. You put so much heart and love helping those who thought they were beyond help. You didn't pretend to be a celebrity. You didn't put yourself on a pedestal. In every word you were kind, humble and wise.

I am so sorry that the world is so cruel.

Rest in peace Dr. Sophia Yin, who committed suicide September 30th, 2014. I lost a hero that day.

I want to wish Ink Master winner, Scott Marshall, a good RIP. Sure you were a dick and sneaky, but you were also very talented and I'm sure you were a good husband.
