His Edgar Allan Poe adaptations was where I got introduced to Vincent Price.
Two of his 'Poe' movies were Peter Lorre's last films before he died in 1964, including this one where he turns The Raven into a comedy about wizards.

Just heard the news. RIP Roger, you were a real one.
 
Corman's Attack of the Crab Monsters is actually a great B-movie, if only for how the titular menaces were more than just "attack of the giant [fill in the blank]!", but mutant intelligent crabs who gain the memories and intelligence of the victims they consume and pursue a strategy against the scientists trapped on an island with them.

Damn shame, but 92 is some good innings. How did Gene Hackman outlive him? RIP to a film legend.

 
I would never. I just meant that Gene is 94, and looks to be in the state of health typical of someone in their 90s.
I don't want to jinx it, but I'd imagine Clint Eastwood doesn't have too much longer either. He's looking real rough. But hell , once you get to 90 you've pretty much won life as far as longevity goes.
