According to https://kiwifarms.st/threads/mad-at-the-internet.49299/post-18703502 Oleg Tatarov, the legend behind classic shock video 1guy1jar, the man who jammed a glass jar into his anus and sat on it so that it accidentally burst and he spent the next several minutes on video pulling shards of glass out of his bleeding rectum has died on the front lines of the Ukraine/Russia war.

Shitposters and shock sites everywhere clench their buttocks in sorrow.

No way that is real. It would mean he did not age a day in 16 years.

My first post about the Ukraine War was about JarGuy and 3guys1Hammer, because at the time they were the only Ukrainians I knew about (plus it was super funny that he shoved a glass jar up his batty and it imploded).

Hall of Fame baseball player Orlando Cepeda passed away on Thursday at the age of 86. He played 17 seasons in the MLB, the majority of which came with the San Francisco Giants alongside the legendary Willie Mays who died just ten days prior to him.

Cepeda was an 11-time All-Star, won the Rookie of the Year Award for the National League in 1958, and in 1967 was both the MVP of the National League and won the World Series as a member of the St. Louis Cardinals.

Mull and Willard were great on Fernwood 2 Night a pitch perfect parody of 1970s late-night talk shows and low-rent local TV

Here's the once and future Ernest, Jim Varney in his semi-regular role as a local mechanic who dispenses automotive advice

and Harry Shearer as the president of an appreciation society for talk show host Tom Snyder...it's NOT a "fan club"!

Gerald Charlebois of Ottawa, ON died June 26th, 2024 at the age of 80 during cardiac surgery.

Charlebois was a civilian who went viral during the 2022 Ottawa trucker convoy protest.

He was driving down the street during the protest alone in his van when he honked his horn in support.

Some powertripping local cop pulled him over for the honking violation. During the encounter, Charlebois got some bad advice from a bystander filming the altercation telling him he did not need to show the cop his ID (likely confusing differing requirements for carding of pedestrians vs mandatory ID requirements when pulled over in a vehicle).

Link to Twitter video of incident

Charlebois took the bystander's advice and declined to show the cop his ID and appeared to take a step towards returning to his vehicle.

The berserk cop opted to manhandle this reported 4'10" grandfather escalating the situation, arresting him for failure to produce ID over a politically-motivated traffic stop over honking.

Charlebois' arrest went viral and he was offered pro bono services from some of the country's best criminal defense lawyers. I believe his charges were eventually dropped.

The cause of death has not been annouced, but many people on X were somehow suggesting that Massie being anti-Jewish for not wanting to give Israel any more foreign aid is the cause of bad karma.

Either way, being married for 34 years is an achievement, and I hope he finds peace in his political career. He’s considered to be one of the brightest politicians that is firmly America First, and it’s getting rarer and rarer these days.
