I can only imagine how much his establishment as used for the amount of time brawls happened there.
And it was always started by black people in the hood, and they always filmed it no matter how bad they looked, even while attacking the workers on there.
Hope his family can find some peace during this difficult time.

This one fucking sucks, as he was one of the main journalists behind "Ukraine the latest", an excellent pod on the war in Ukraine.
There is no conformation of what he has died off, but it happend in the weekend.
I think this may be the cause:

Long live Mufasa and Darth Vader.

I actually am lucky to share the same birth date as this man, and he’s one of the finest actors that never received an Academy Award. His voice alone moved mountains, but his physical acting is incredibly underrated.
Honestly, this may be one of the cases where greatness isn’t measured by the number of awards you have. Don’t forget he’s the guy that gave us “This is CNN”

RIP to one of the finest baritones, if not finest voices in media history
We lost a real one. We lost us a GOAT.

So many examples spring to mind, but what I remembered first after Vader was his performance in Conan the Barbarian. Despite a flawed yet fun script and a wig designer who seemed to have made it their mission to turn him into the biggest dingus in movie history, he managed to perfectly play the role of a serene and utterly inhuman yet terrifyingly charismatic sorcerer in a way I have frankly yet to see matched.

Hell he managed to fucking make this performance kinda work....

Sadly I could not find the relevent clips of Exorcist 2 to indicate the abomination of a screenplay he was up against, but he still brought his A game while Richard Burton looked like he was actively downing shots each time the camera cut away from him
