Allegedly part of her written down instructions was that, in case such an accident happens, nobody shall risk their life to recover her body, that is, leave her remains on the mountain in case that happens.
Seems to be a genuinely great person, which is why there's lots of grief over in athlete circles and German media

Yeah, they're dropping like flies. Hopefully if another goes it's Wilcock and not Dickenson or Bailey (who's great, just not in Maiden...). Not much to remember about Wilcock other than the fact that he fired Dave Murray and falsely claimed to have written a lot of Maiden songs, so that wouldnt be much of a loss.
