My father just died on the way to the hospital and both me and mother are in shock, even though he knew he was going to go.

And two weeks before his birthday.

Quite a loss. I lost my brother 2 months ago, minutes after I last saw him as he committed suicide. He would've been 51 this November.

The real consolation that I have is that he died while my mother was driving his favorite car on the way to the highway. She didn't want to see him die in our own home.

He's with his side of the family now.
