Did you mean cerebellar ataxia, or is this some other form of brain ick I've never heard of?
A lazy bing search (lol I know) says they're both a thing. Differences:

FeatureCerebellar AtaxiaCerebral/NPCA Ataxia
Primary siteCerebellumCerebral cortex or associated pathways
CauseDegeneration, lesion, toxicity, autoimmuneCongenital malformation, cortical injury
Limb coordinationDysmetria, intention tremor, dysdiadochokinesiaMild incoordination, poor motor planning
GaitWide-based, staggering, ipsilateral to lesionMild, bilateral, often static
SpeechDysarthria, scanning speechUsually less affected
Eye movementsNystagmus, saccadic errorsTypically normal
ProgressionOften progressive (in degenerative forms)Usually non-progressive
LateralityIpsilateralBilateral or diffuse
TreatmentSymptomatic, rehabilitation, experimental therapiesSupportive, motor planning exercises

Brad says “cerebral” in the video, so not sure if he’s misspeaking or if they’re different things

i watched the videos of Bob trying to deal with it and it was very rough either way

Thank you. That's actually valuable information. Although it horrifies me that this thing is possible.

I was surprised too. Though I suppose I shouldn't be -- the human body seems very innovative and creative at finding exciting new ways to fail catastrophically yet also painfully and slowly.

Leslie Fish died yesterday in hospice. I hate it when interesting people shuffle off this moral coil.

Leslie Fish
Never heard of this lady but apparently she was big in her scene.

Ok, based. RIP crazy pagan based lady.

Eugene Hasenfus, survivor of the Iran-Contra incident, died at the age of 84

Interesting part:
In 2003, he pleaded guilty in Brown County to a charge of Lewd, Lascivious Behavior after exposing himself multiple times in store parking lots.

Hmm...
His obituary states Hasenfus spent the later half of his life [...] spoiling his pet cats with “entirely too many treats.”

Eugene had a knack for doling out more than what most wanted or needed.
