Although it's tragic what happened, he wasn't their original singer from their iconic albums. Their original vocalist Brad Delp sadly committed suicide in 2007 via carbon monoxide poisoning. He was apparently suffering from depression since the 70's, however the journoscum speculated that he killed himself due to tensions with Boston's Tom Scholz, so Tom tried but failed to sue the press.
