His voice was so iconic, like a 1950s dad. This sucks.
I heard that song for the first time just this past Friday. Hadn't heard of Dr. Hook before either and was getting ready to add it to my playlist for work this week.Damn, that sucks. I love "On the Cover of the Rolling Stone" and just bought a 7" single of it last night.
yeah he lost his ability to speak tooHoly shit, that is him in his 60's?? I thought that was someone in their 90's. My 92 year old grandmother, may her soul rest in peace, looked way better than that, and she had a stroke as well.
yeah he lost his ability to speak too
it really sucks
He lost the ability to communicate overall. He couldn't read at all, and writing was difficult for him. Recovery was going to be difficult, and I think he managed to be able to say a few words, but that was it. That stroke killed his livelihood.yeah he lost his ability to speak too
it really sucks
It fucking does, My late grandfather had two strokes and it was seeing him slowly go from him constantly making jokes with us to mostly sleep and yell at my family over simple stuff, plus he couldn't walk anymore till his death. It's awful.yeah he lost his ability to speak too
it really sucks
Are you dancing around the jab? From what I read, he was only 58 when he had the stroke in 2020, so he was only 64 when he died. That really blows. Very strange for someone to have a stroke that early. That would make it very high suspicion for unknown clotting disorder (heterozygous Leiden factor V), undiagnosed PFO, undiagnosed AFib, etc... Probably had no idea anything was wrong and it just hit him. Just awful.
I hope they looked into the cause closely, he has 3 biological kids (and 6 adopted kids, so he and his wife were obviously very good natured and nurturing people to do that) that may be at risk.
Are you dancing around the jab?
Well, he was collaborating with disney when it came to chink flu messages in disney worlds, it's safe to assume he took the clot shot. Are you dancing around the jab?
While I sympathize with Fuhrman being railroaded for using his god given right to use his freedom of speech against niggers, I wish it to be known that he also tried to put an innocent man named Orenthal James Simpson (hereafter referred to as Juice) behind bars for a crime he didn’t commit.Mark Fuhrman, the detective who people blame for OJ Simpson not being found guilty of the deaths of Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman because he called niggers out as being niggers when he interviewed them for crimes in the 1980’s, passed away today at 74.
He wrote a book and did true crime podcasts as well.

I think that he knew that he made a mistake when he committed perjury about his racist remarks, and he apologized for it and paid the price afterwards. I think that Simpson’s defense team claiming that he planted the bloody glove was bullshit.
I also don’t think that he was the sole reason for OJ not being found guilty. The black members of the jury admitted afterwards that they found him “innocent” solely because he was a famous black man who killed two white people.
At least Mark died years after OJ died and went to hell.
Fuck man, this is really depressing since he was a huge part of my childhood. The world is now a little more empty without him.
Fuck..... I knew he wasn't coming back for the second Powerpuff Girls reboot currently under development and headed by Craig after his stroke, but this is nonetheless devastating. I hope the new series will be dedicated in his memory.
The rumor that was going around at the time was the not guilty verdict was payback for the Rodney King verdict. The black members of the jury admitted afterwards that they found him “innocent” solely because he was a famous black man who killed two white people.

This hurts just about as much (if not more) than finding out that the man who voiced Space Ghost died last year. Such an iconic voice that made me watch the PPG at an early age.
