Helicopters are already dangerous but to get on one piloted by a South American in a country known for bad driving is another thing. If they can't manage to safely drive on the ground what makes you think they can attempt to fly a much more complicated machine and have a good outcome is beyond me.

How many celebrities have been lost to helicopters accidents now? Colin Mcrae, Kobe, Stevie Ray and many more

Damn RIP. A friend of mine introduced me to his stuff in 2018. Stopped following him years ago but I was fan some of his stuff at one point. Sad to see.

Wish it was that faggot BBno$ instead

I saw this guy around but never listened because he looked like some idubbbz tier faggot.

I put on a couple songs and it's just... generic. There's really nothing I can even say about it.

Hearing about stuff like this is why I dislike helicopters. I have no opinion on Oliver Tree; I just don't like hearing about helicopter crashes because I'm predisposed to being scared of that happening.

I've said in this thread before you will never get me on a helicopter while I am awake and aware. Nothing that non-aerodynamic was ever ment to fly. An Apache attack helicopter was shot down the other day in a way that would never have hit an airplane, and now this. Almost every helicopter engine failure is non-survivable, straight into the ground you go. Condolences to the families of the deceased.

His music videos, style, and somewhat effeminate vocals are what got me curious about the guy after seeing a passing clip of him destroying an office with that weird haircut and baggy pants like 3 years ago. His passing is a real shame. Never put your life in the hands of a Brazilian.

Yeah helicopters are a testament to mans hubris. God showed us how man can take flight if we modeled our aircraft around the same laws of physics that the birds have to play by. Helicopters run on pure torque and malicious amounts of disregard.

And here I was concerned that only the gangs would be the thing to kill you in Brazil.

Nope, they're all retarded and all just a single movement from death at any given moment.

You can auto rotate the rotors by changing the pitch in the event of an engine failure allowing the rotors to spin faster just from air speed allowing for some lift to be created.

Generally the main cause of helicopter crashes is usually poor piloting(either badly trained or poor cockpit discipline, lack of or improper maintenance or flying a cheap shitty helicopter. Helicopters are not meant to be cheap for a reason and anyone who has a cheap helicopter such as a Robinson is gambling every time they fly. A cheap helicopter just means you can't afford a good helicopter or pay for proper maintenance.

The military is probably the only group I would trust in regards to helicopters as they provide lots of training, have the manpower and facilities for adequate maintenance, repair and storage. For every hour spent flying many more hours are needed doing maintenance and the cost adds up quickly with parts, tools and labour. And the military does have crashes but that it due to the extent of how often they fly and compared to civilian ones they probably have a lower percentage of crashes per time spent in operation. The margins to make profit from having a helicopter business are so incredibly low because of fuel, maintenance, paying pilots, and the price of buying a reliable helicopter that to make a profitable would seem likely they would either cheap out on paying for proper maintenance or hiring pilots with not enough experience or training.
