damn. reggie bannister (actor from the phantasm movie series) died today...i remember thinking how weird it was that the last phantasm movies plot was basically what happened to him in real life..
ALSO I cant believe that Jackie the eagle died, i watched her nest and the captiva/south florida eagle nest for years, and its so sad how they can get sick and die so quickly.

yeah it was awful..the last phantasm movie had him playing a man who had been diagnosed with terminal dementia, and apparently after or around the time that movie was finished, he was literally diagnosed with this...terrible. he was a great actor for sure. i was also surprised that he was as old as he was, too

Cheryl Hall was in the Jon Pertwee adventure "Carnival of Monsters", where she played a sort of showgirl. She was going to be a companion, but lost out to Katie Manning, so the producer gave her the showgirl role as a sort of consolation prize. She was quite good in it. I know I've seen her guesting in other British TV stuff.
TMZ reported on Thursday, Aug. 13, citing an unnamed family member, that Knowings had an asthma attack and was hospitalized on Friday, Aug. 7. She was put on life support at a Los Angeles-area hospital, her family member told the outlet, before she died on Tuesday, Aug. 11.
