I didn't even realise he died until today. He was a former monk who dedicated almost 60 years of his life to building a Cathedral dedicated to the Virgin Mary by himself in Mejorada del Campo, Spain.

The sad part is despite him requesting that he be buried inside the crypt, inside the cathedral he built, he was instead buried in the town cemetery after the local council decided that the crypt "did not meet Spanish sanitation rules" Fuck those rules obessed petty tyrant faggots, respect a legends dying wish.

I'm not even a Christian myself but I respect his dedication, faith, and artistry, and i'm sure he has been and will forever be an inspirational figure for many people.
