This. So nice to see NASA fans here on the farms. John Young began as a Gemini astronaut and immediately gained his reputation of Wiseass in Space by smuggling a corned beef sandwich into orbit with the help of fellow NASA Wiseass Wally Schirra. This horrified both NASA and Young’s Mission Buddy, Gus Grissom. young went on to fly TWO Apollo missions and two STS (shuttle) Missions. So think of John when you get a corned beef, he’d love you for it. And he was a great guy.
