Since we had an out of state wedding, my husband and I drove from my hometown in Nebraska back to Washington. It was a rather fun drive. Stopped at Mt. Rushmore, and due to it being off season (Halloween and all), had no crowds to fight. We stopped in Montana for the night and then continued our drive from there to Washington. Got to drive through a rain/snow storm and watch it progress as we passed through it.
Even before we were married, my husband drove from Washington to Colorado to help me move from Nebraska to Washington with him. That drive was rather fun too, though we stopped in Utah for that night. Got to see an old friend of mine and his then boyfriend and just relaxed.
I would love to take another road trip, though I'm mostly just the passenger. We're thinking about making the drive back to Nebraska again, but with my brother in law so we may have a second driver.
