I can’t resist.

You know, I'd completely forgotten that Bob mulishly contends that The Simpsons is just as good -- better, even! -- than it's ever been, and it's only nostalgia that says otherwise, until this beautiful/horrible thing reminded me of it.
I think I mentioned this earlier in the thread, but considering The Simpsons did this:

I'm amazed he hasn't thrown it under the bus.

I like that he had to go “non-Bart that isn’t Homer” which only hurts his point even more. Who cares about third place? And if we are going by modern consensus, I would think Skinner is more loved than Lisa, at least I never liked her.

Didn’t he ask for a reboot almost immediately after making his “Their still funny” video?

EDIT: Fuck Apple and its glitchy devices!

I literally am in awe right now at the fact that he thinks Lisa is one of the most popular characters in The Simpsons. Like seriously, of all the stupid shit he's said over the years about different shows, movies and comic books, this just is the one that really has left me completely dumbfounded.

Simple. He's THAT disconnected from reality. This doesn't surprise me in the slightest.

Nigga, can you even get your sausage link fingers around the trigger?

Blob, .22 or not, using a pocket pistol to discuss recoil is nonsensical. The smaller and lighter the gun, usually, barring some engineering witchcraft, the more the felt recoil. I would imagine my hands would cramp up shooting the Phoenix (it IS a ring of fire pistol so it probably has shit ergonomics). Maybe this reveals more about Bob than it seems at first glance- maybe Bob went to a shooting range one day and that POS is the one he tried out. It's a strange and very random gun to know off-hand for a tweet.

:offtopic:A great way to troll a friend is to to take them to a shooting range and hand them a S&W 36 Airweight. "It's just a .38, it doesn't kick much!"

I would like to buy the Tony Beers a drink because he gets it.
How many beers would you buy Tony Beers?

Interestingly, he's absolutely correct on that second point ... which is why his first point is absolutely wrong.

That's actually why Lisa's character went absolutely to shit, because she was no longer even a character but a sock puppet to be used for the current writer's own personal political views, whether or not they were even consistent with previous shit Lisa said. I know it's an episodic cartoon so canon and consistency aren't necessarily all that important but at least keep the characters recognizable.

Keep begging, Bob. Soon enough, when you least expect it- the Content Cop will come. :optimistic:

Nah. I think Ian's got better things to do.

Either Metokur, or Idubbz will give him a good spank. Just a matter how much Bob is willing to fuck up with his ego. Autist Blackface was enough to be spotlighted by Ray Gun. So wishful thinking at best.

However I doubt it will be the case in the future.

I believe that happened on the season seven episode where Lisa becomes a vegetarian after visiting that nursery rhyme theme park. The writers originally wanted Lisa to ditch being a vegetarian in the end after seeing how intolerant she was being, but special guest stars Paul and Linda McCartney refused to do the show unless Lisa stayed a vegetarian in the end. Some viewers saw this as a sign the show was selling out.
