Bob's obsession with 80s pop culture always makes me think of that rant he had a while back about "comics are bad because a bunch of people who were 10 when Watchmen came out decided everything has to cater to them forever". The fact that he was close to that age in 1987 and how oddly specific it is makes it one of the more revealing examples of projection.

For whatever reason he decided he's the greatest and the last. Think about how he apparently doesn't care what gets us to the "Superior Future", he just wants the whole world under one rule and to be pampered until death. Just end it all because we'll never surpass the pinnacle that is Bob.

It's even more irritating because that lyric is about him literately turning around, buuuuuuut obviously it's got a secret hidden meaning.

No seriously, I always joke about how much I kind of hate Don Henley, being this weird hanger-on to everything he touches. Like, watching the news I've remarked that it pisses me off of all the people to guess about the world from the 80's Don Henley had to be the one who was right. Or that the most meaningful thing he ever contributed to music was his aborted daughter.

This is because Bob pisses me off when he pretends to know anything he's so goddamn pedestrian about it

The thing about A-logging Bob, though, is it's pointless. He has to get up every day and be Bob Chipman. And that seems like it's a more fitting punishment for his slothful, gluttonous, and just plain stupid life choices and vindictive, hateful personality than any beating or humiliation I could devise. Bob can spew all the bile he wants at everyone, but you know what? Most of us are a lot happier and more productive than this raging 400 lb turdburglar.

We don't HAVE to A-log Bob. He's already shit.

I think this is one of the reason I find Bob so distasteful, I was bullied pretty badly in school and I don't see anything which justifies what he is. I see myself and my virtues brought low in that tubby fucker so I almost sympesize with him lashing out but I remember what my Dad told me after I got sent home from school for going 'overboard' I explained how badly I'd been treated by the other kids his reply always stuck with me and I think it really applies to not only Bob but most lolcows created by shitty childhoods.

To paraphrase"Defending yourself is one thing but what you did was cruel, a tame animal will turn feral if it's tortured because its mind is broken and it's do dumb to ever rise above what happened to it, a person doesnt have that excuse,.....you can't use what other people do to you to justify what you do to them."

Bassically Bobs emotive intelligence is about the level of a dog raised to fight so fuck him he's got no excuses.

You guys remember when Bob reviewed the Dark Knight Rises and criticized the film for revealing a shallow thesis on the Dark Knight trilogy? Well, is wrong for me to think that either Infinity War or Avengers 4 will have a shallow thesis on the MCU, which Bob will favor regardless, as well?

Well to him, he’s a idiot. But regardless, I keep banging this drum, Infinity War is going to suck and Bob knows it will. The reason I think this is because they’re going to illogically connect all the other movies to the film when they are totally disconnected to the plot of the film despite massively overhyping this event. I also got a feeling they’re going to have a cop out ending to Thanos, who I feel like would be a waste, and have a shitty villain take over his place.

So in short, Infinity War will be just as bad as Justice League, though the only thing that’ll be different is that it’ll make way more money. But regardless, Bob will find a way to defend it and will use his usually logical fallacies like strawman and Ad Hominem to attack those who criticize it just like he did with the supper shitty Last Jedi.

Reading headlines on various sites that say a link between Thanos and Tony Stark, which goes back to the first Iron Man movie, has me wondering if the reveal will received mix reactions while Bob will proclaim how genius it was.

Is Moviebob even aware that Super Mario Brothers 3, his favorite video game of all time, was made only by men with terrible pay, undesirable working conditions, and ungodly long hours, not to mention women weren't even allowed in the office and the petty tyrant Hiroshi Yamauchi could basically reject anything he wanted if it wouldn't be successful and force the developers to start over? Basically, the conditions that produced his favorite video game, nay, piece of entertainment of all time were some of the most heavy-handed, corporate, and un-progressive. Not to mention the game seems to have a decidedly conservative bent to it where the hero is a working class blue collar man and the villain is an authoritarian dictator who doesn't care that his own footsoldiers are walking into lava. And this is coming from an alleged champion of progressivism.
