Out of curiosity, have any of you guys told people you know IRL about or shown them Bob, and if so what were their reactions?

My best friend, who is a psychology student, came to the conclusion that Bob is probably a narcissist due to his high opinion of himself and inability to handle criticism.

I showed my friends at a party a tweet of Bob bitching about Trump supporters and white blue collar workers being mediocre and him in his Mario costume and they laughed their ass off.

I showed my dad tweets of his superior future shit and a picture of him at the wedding playing on his phone and he said he's a lazy fatass for not spending time with his family and instead on his phone.

I have to agree, Bob's right here. The original Shazam! comic was pretty darned goofy and fun, and was probably the first superhero adapted into a "plausible" live-action film serial.

There's an early episode where Captain Marvel gets shot at that gets me every time. Without a word, the actor pulls off "Oh my GOD I'm going to DIE ... hey, I'm bulletproof! AWESOME!"

Pity Bob? No fucking way, this is all self-inflected. He can change his attitude and grow as a human being. However, it would require a major shift in his way of thinking and he’s most definitely lose followers over it.

More than anything it would require growing up and acting like an adult and probably ditching the reviewing thing for vocation training or at least a degree in something useful.
