Aside from the obvious answers like autism and social isolation, I think a large part of it is memes, hashtags, and sound bites. Bob wants to used as a box quote or go viral in the way his "There's no such thing as bad tactics, only bad targets." tweet did, but it never happens. I think that's part of why he despises words like Ludonarrative Dissonance. It's a fancy word that wasn't made by his friends or taken from film criticism.

He's also a progressive, that means he can't call people stupid without being accused of ableism. He can't call them poor or low class because the far left has to pretend to like the proletariat.
