How will Bob react to seeing the Mario film?

Weather and climate can be conflated now?

The saying goes hot is climate, cold is weather. Although it's telling this time it's snow that proves it's getting hotter.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was something to it. But I will point out none of the villagers thought wolves were mythical. They just decided to ignore the shepherd.

Chuck Wendig. I know that name from somewhere.

He's upset about the loss of contact with a Mars rover.

Was someone sending it Game Overthinker episodes?

Even Jim Sterling has had enough of Moviebob.

EDIT:
I don't keep up with the gaining industry a lot but isn't Activision laying off some staff due to their titles underperforming expectations, hence why they lost the rights to Bungie's Destiny?

I asked Google. It seems that Activision is under investigation for fraud and cutting as many ties as they can before they get audited.

I recently found his thread and upon discovering it, I learned he royally fucked up Turok.

Not surprised to see that while they’re struggling. Their Call of Duty games were the most popular games on the market until Fornite came in. Not that Bob cares since they’re for dudebros.

He hasn't once mentioned it. He's spending his time sperging about everything else.

Sperging about how all hunters are evil.

Bob clearly doesn't know jack fucking dick about hunting. I know I'm about to powerlevel here, but I've been hunting my entire life, and I can say from experience that the experience of the journey (in this case, spending time bonding with friends and family over a shared passion and getting to enjoy the beautiful expanses of wilderness that you track your prey through) is just as important as the destination (actually harvesting your prey). Plus, hunters are some of the biggest conservationists around, and a lot of the proceeds that are invested in the sport (i.e., tags and permits) go towards conservation efforts. Honestly, if it keeps him from spewing more uninformed bullshit like this, I'd be willing to take him on a hunting trip at the risk of my sanity.

He has a thread on here. Imagine Bob but if Bob actually managed to obtain a tiny piece of success in life.
I'd argue a bit on that. Wendig is similar in the sense that a lot of woke neckbeards are but I haven't seen him play basement dictator like Bob does, his gimmick is more "lol so quirky and randumb! XD".

Lot of the same anger and hatreds, though. I do think Wending is more animated by a desire to be seen as funny and hip and quirky, while Bob comes almost purely from a place of rage and bitterness. Could be because Wendig has actually been published.

Plus, you have to have Wending’s ambition to do something fucked up like his Turok comics.

Teddy Roosevelt was a big proponent of National Parks beause he relaized that if the entire forest was clear-cut, there'd be nowhere for the animals he loved to hunt live. Hunters are some of the "greenest" people you'll meet because they get that game is a renewable resource, like timber, and sustainable at human-needed levels only through proper management.

Yes but in Bob's pea brain it goes something like "hunters = right wing Hicks = bad"

As one of my buddies likes to point out (I keep bugging him to put up an article) "you can prove global warming is going to happen, you can't prove that it's going to be a bad thing." There's also this presentation I've seen on youtube (can find the playlist for those interested) of a climate scientist who pointed out that in every instance they found something "caused" by global warming, people were able to resolve with a little bit of local geo-engineering. Problems nowadays are probably more likely us just fucking up the water table than the CO2.

In the book the patriarch of the Duck Dynasty family wrote, he talks about how once he made his millions, he started buying up numerous acres and converting them into wetlands to encourage ducks to come by and populate.

As I would ask Bob: When was the last time you spent hundreds of thousands of dollars and your own time and energy to personally create a habitat for an animal? Nothing wrong with you if you haven't, but it's just a fact that nobody's going to put that much effort into something unless they're passionate about it. (Heck I've noticed that those who tend to complain the most about hunters tend to be the people that spend the least amount of time outdoors.)

I'll bet Bob really believes that all hunters do in Africa is slip a couple of bucks to the nearest tribal chieftan before bagging some random animal. Professional game hunting is really important in Africa, because if it didn't generate as much money as it does, villagers would be torching animal habitat down for clear-cutting and killing rare animals for food, folk cures, or to protect their crops/livestock. Sure, I hate to see some wealthy Chad gunning down some magnificent animal, but it it gives the rest of the magnificent animals a better chance for survival, then I'm okay with it.

Also, blaming Blizzard's layoffs on Capitalism is really exceptional. Banning Capitalism because some corporations overextend themselves or engage in restructuring douchebaggery is like banning driving because some people like to down a bottle of tequila before climbing into their uninsured caddy and heading for the nearest freeway exit.

SJWs blame everything on capitalism though.

And oddly Bob actually has a better grasp of Gramar, Sentence Structure, punctuation and the use of colons and hyphens than Professional Writer Wendig does. And I'm not saying this to in any way praise Bob. I'm just using him as the low bar to illustrate just how bad Wendig's actual work product is.

Doesn’t see the irony here.

If something is only "slightly more unconventional" and thus "very standard but a different brand of it" then how does that jive with the whole "subverting expectations" argument? Either it's business as usual, a radical departure, or Bob is currently saying the equivalent to "I was blown away by Character X choosing to wear a different shirt. 10/10 peak cinema".

Hint: it's the third. Bob will say or do anything to court the favor of his beloved "elites".
