Interestingly, the only way this makes sense is if blue states consist of a small minority of extremely wealthy people who have so much money they more than make up for the rest of the residents, who are poorer than red state residents. So in short, Robert is arguing that Democrats are the party of the 1% and welfare bums, and have much more income inequality in areas dominated by them, despite being the party that's supposedly for reducing income inequality.

He’s really ignorant about things that are so easy and to get data on. It actually reminds me of something else I was wondering about him, which is: when he talks about the “obsolete mayonnaise ghouls” who are holding back his superior future, where do the poverty-class nonwhites fit into his vision? Are they part of the “America that matters” despite things like generational poverty (as in, families with multiple generations of adults who have never held a job), higher crime rates, lower levels of education, and just generally objectively not contributing much of value? Does he even know that it’s like 13% of all whites who are on some kind of means-tested benefits VS over 40% of blacks? Does he think if we killed all the wasteland mayonnaise ghouls would all the POCs in poverty just suddenly be engineers planning the first moon wheat farm? Is it that his expectations for those groups are so low he just doesn’t even worry about it much, instead taking it as kind of an “it is what it is” thing?

Non-white poors are exempt because something something racism. Of course Robert only pretends to care about non-white poors when people accuse him of hating poors in general, or when he can use it as a cudgel to attack white poors with. And when he uses it as a defense of why he doesn't hate the poors it's pretty much guaranteed he'll segue from that into attacking white poors, usually by claiming they don't count as poor or working class because something something racism.

iirc Brexit was voted on in 2016, flubbed a few times and was supposed to have an opening discussion with the EU about the terms of leaving two months ago and then they went back to Brussels to ask for yet ANOTHER extension.
