The "feminist" tag was actually a mistranslation of the original Japanese word, which meant "womanizer". But given what we know about male feminists these days, that word seems an apt description of the kind of autistic incel who would call himself a gentleman...
Specifically, it means "a man who is indulgent with women"; holding doors for them, giving up subway seats, etc. In other words, a "M'lady" fedora-tipper type. The word "feminist" (technically, "feminisuto") was applied to such people sarcastically. (Source: "English in Japanese: A Selection of Useful Loanwords", Akira Miura, 1993). Granted there may have been linguistic drift since then, but that's what it meant back when that Sonic manual was written.

His comparison between Bright and Onward to Antz and Bugs Life falls flat on it's face because Bright wasn't an animated movie and was direct to TV and released years before. He should have probably compared Book of Life to Coco if he was going to make such a stretch.

Antz and Bugs Life were both animated movies made by rival companies in the same industry and released within months of each other.

And zero mention of Shadowrun in his whole review. Like if you knew what Shadowrun was you would have made the comparison back when you saw the original trailer to Onward and having it be Shadowrun in Suburbia.

Ye, but let's be real he isn't the brightest cookie. Plus, I highly doubt fatboy ever played an TTRPG in his life; probably see it as something that "jocks" also indulge in.

I try to limit the Bob in my life, but I've seen enough videos to believe our boy is one of those "fans" that googles his fanboy knowledge. Oh he's definitely into Mario and other stuff, but he portrays himself as an all-knowing omnigeek who has encyclopedic knowledge and absolutely correct opinions on all geek culture. For example, when he mentions the Star Wars EU novels, he presents elements from them out of context and in a reductive manner (i.e. Luuke), to push the narrative that the "old" SW fans (and the EU) are stupid and inferior people (parallel with the sexist/racist/misogynist label).

In the first and generally well-regarded (which is why our boy references it fairly often) EU trilogy, Luke had a showdown with his clone. The novel, written pre-Prequel Trilogy, presented different clone lore, specifically that a vowel in the clone's name would be doubled. This is because it's a goddamn book, and it would be annoying to read "Luke's clone" over and over. But one might call that brevity, and what the fuck does Robert know about that?

In fact, if Bobby were the nerd he claimed to be, he'd point out that the EU was NEVER canon (the above clone lore Exhibit A) and was always classified by Lucasfilm as secondary and parallel (like the comics, games, cartoons) to the primary canon (movies). The "de-canonizing" of the EU was clearly a corporate edict from on high, and everyone just went along with it. A knowledgeable nerd in his position would use his platform to clarify this silly bit of trivia for people when the EU was pronounced dead and the fans reacted; instead he smugly pushed the narrative that EU fans are just like the MAGA CHUDs setting back humanity decades. He actively poisons the discourse he claims is toxic. It is for this reason and countless tiny little other "nerd things" I pick up on, that I think this mother fucker is a third as fat as he is a poser.

I'd say we really need to get ahold of someone from Bob's highschool but even if we did no one would even remember him, no matter how important Bob thinks he is.

And that free digital copy?

It's a documentary about ska music that according to the bio section is still in production.
The first tweet that I saw on their feed was someone commenting about reconnecting with Lenore, aka Jeff the Girl, from Five Iron Frenzy and I wonder how much Bob's fedora would flip if he knew baby brother was supporting(?) something that has anything to do with the obsolete Christian faith?
Way to get people excited to give you money Chris. The only thing that would insure that you'll be rolling in the dosh is if you guilt the with a woe is me ple-

...ohhhh...

I personally don't want to mock Chris for his hustle. Things happen and you gotta do what gotta do to ensure the protection of your family. That's what a man should do. I will, however, mock the way he does it.
"Oh you tards aren't sold with the idea of getting a digital copy of a documentary about ska?‽ Well I have bills assholes! Just think about that!"
Yes I'm being hyperbolic and Chris didn't exactly say that, but I can see the same man who went to whom he thought was some guy who made fun of his big brother employer sitting in utter befuddlement that people just don't wanna give him money for his "member da 90's?" podcast.
Man, Chip really doesn’t have a clue about what subjects he should make content about. I mean, first there’s his bizarre obsession with Blockbuster that he won’t shut up about and now he’s making a documentary of Ska of all fucking things? I mean I like Ska, but nobody’s really given a shit about it in like 20 years. He’s fixated on his own nostalgia just like his big bro, but unlike Blob Boy his old school wankfest isn’t even based on anything people really look back on much. At least with Mario 3 it’s something that’s a classic that people still discuss today, with Chip it really seems like he’s upset that all the shit he used to love in the 90’s isn’t around anymore.

Chip is the old man who yells at the cloud, a true and honest boomer (despite not falling under the traditional years a boomer was born). Then again, both Chris and Bob were cut from the same low quality cloth.

He doesn't actually have anything to do with the movie. His connection with it is that he interviewed the director initially because the director made a documentary about the last Blockbuster in the world. He brought the guy back to talk about his new movie, Pick It Up, because he's a fan of ska and already had a connection to him. I've listened to the interview and it's fine. Chris definitely is into the genre and does a fine job interviewing the director even with some laughable tech hiccups. He's so into ska that he claims, at around the 14 minute mark, at the infamous Cancun sister wedding she had karaoke and he and her sang some Less Than Jake song and made a circle pit. He also says he did a circle pit at his wedding to, again, Less Than Jake. If that's the case I don't know if can really blame Bob for not mingling with his family at his sister's wedding anymore.

Y'know. It's amazing how easily a few quick tweaks could turn Bob into Robotnik.

Behold! RoBOBnik! Dastardly villain who wants to "Manhattanize" every last scrap of farmland and replace all of its inhabitants with robots! Tell me how this guy isn't a real life video game villain...
Dr. Robertnik!

Maybe the Chipmans should try having less obsolete genetics and quietly disappear from the gene pool for the superior future.
Chris Chimpman spawned a tard baby that he decided to use for grifting and victimhood because he was too lazy to go to a new pharmacy with his insurance change.

Their line is failing, the obsolescence quite apparent.

Because being a decent villain requires a certain level of competence Robert lacks. If all Robotnik did was Tweet about how the Mobians are obsolete and Sonic is a subhedgehog mayonnaise ghoul, it wouldn't be much of a game.

How dare you come after Robert's family like this! Only he's allowed to call people he dislikes genetically inferior and celebrate their impending extinction!

I’ve notice that everytime he reviews a Kaiju movie like Godzilla or Pacific Rim, Bob’s more favorable towards them than much of the MCU. Do they seriously do a better job at turning his brain off than the MCU, or am I overthinking?

Well, with the MCU movies he needs to keep pushing how "oh they are deep and have these messages" and shit, but Godzilla and Pacific Rim? They are just fun and silly Kaiju movies one can enjoy an just chill.

I can see it with the MCU and more American Kaiju movies, but I’m surprised that he never takes note about the political undertones some have, like the Heisei and Millennium Godzilla movies, or maybe Shin Godzilla at that.

Some more lesbian hornytweets from Bobson....errr I mean Moviebob

Gonna have to go with the latter, considering Blob is the God of the Superior Futchah and can't exactly see when he pleases himself.

And some classic self-aware totally-not-projection
