Well okay then. Parts of Fallout 2's lore had really shitty writing (specifically the vaults were really a social experiment stuff) that was worse than, say, anything in Morrowind, a game he says he wasn't able to finish while pointing to FO2 as being one of the two best written games of all time. His point that VATS shouldn't get points for looking neat and being enjoyable is wrong too. I wasn't an FO3 fan but the fact that he hates that people liked the likable thing is stupid.

And his whole article misses the point that in that Fallout 3 should be judged on its own merits when deciding whether it is a good game. A lot of his points are that it is different from FO1 and FO2. For some, like the writing, that makes perfect sense but for others, like the combat mechanics, it does not. Turn based RPGs being better than shooters is not a fact, its an opinion.

Oh, and his Legend of Zelda series is also total dogshit because it places his own personal preference (being able to do parts of a dungeon in different orders) over other parts which I think are more important, like minimizing tedium/trial and error in the earlier games or even things like music.

I like how you unirionically want people to watch over an hour of boring convuluted youtube shit when it's clear in the first 5 minutes is it's strawmen, subjective stances and unfunny filler. I've only played fall out 3 for about 2 hours so can't really rebuke him but If you want I can crap all over something else he's made so we can explore him being the application of the dunning cruger affect. This is afterall someone who manged to get pwned by bannana autist himself.
