to be fair, kiwi fruit does have properties similar to pineapple and papaya in that it contains meat tenderizing enzymes. This is why they tell people not to put raw kiwi fruit in jello when it's being made, because then it won't jell. In the hands of a skilled chef there probably is a way to exploit kiwifruit with meat successfully, though making the entire dish savoury is definitely not the way to go unless someone is literal rain man savant sperg at cooking and can somehow make it work (probably by going easy on the kiwi fruit and using it only in sparing quantities in a marinade). Certainly not in the way Film Robert uses it, that's for sure.

The Twilight movies were awful. But most of the hate was directed at the fanbase, not just the movie Moviebob you exceptional back-peddling loser. Most people have forgotten, as many toxic fan bases have come and gone, but Twilight had one of the worst fan bases for its time. They single handedly ruined comic - con in one fucking year.

I would say it was kind of a prototype for the types of fanbases that would develop like Voltron and Steven Universe. Hell, I would not be surprised if most of the people who make up those, and other, toxic fanbases were former Twilight fans.

Bella's abstinence from sex, the Cullen's abstinence from impure food (blood in their case, coffee in the case of the Mormons), and the general portrayal of the Cullens as this perfect eternal family, set apart from the world were considered LDS selling points. I mean it was also used as an insult, in that some critics claimed Bella's submissiveness was a reflection of Mormon attitudes.
