How will Bob react to seeing the Mario film?

That makes absolutely no fucking sense at all. Any payload sent into space costs by the fucking microgram. Transporting wheat from the Moon would involve launching from a world with no atmosphere and then landing again, over and over again. The cost would raise the cost of any such wheat well over the price of pure gold.
Dude havent you seen Cowboy Bebop? Theyll figure that shit out man, just roll with it.

You actually flipped the quote into something reasonable. No bad target, only bad tactics implies some kind of restraint in dealing with ideological enemies.

This is what Bob actually said:

Fuck I knew this too.

This is what happens when you don't proofread your posts, people.

You know, this is the exact line of thinking that we have now with people thinking it's OK to just punch Richard Spencer in the face. People have been acting like it's a new thing when the mentality has been around for a long time.

(Seriously, why do leftists go to such great lengths to attack their fellow countrymen while protecting outsiders at all costs?)

inb4 some sjw on twitter points out that of course he wouldn't fear sharia law because he's a cishet white male oppressor

Like Trump or not, people like this make for some damn good targets. At least in my brutally & critically honest opinion.

The thing about offworld farming, would be that it would be only for the singular purpose of sustaining colonies. We do not need wheat grown on the moon, whoever the fuck is working on the moon does, the logistics of loading it up and sending it to earth doesn't work, that's better spent on actual hard resources which are what we actually want from space.

People think stuffy white pastors are a greater threat to human rights than crazy zealots who actually throw gays off of buildings.

I bet when Bob thinks of Sharia Law, he imagines hoards of Muslims ravaging the midwest and culturally enriching the "subhumans."

Offworld Trading Company (a game about resources and wheeling and dealing on Mars) does have a thing where you can send resources to the asteroid belt and reap tons of profit-because people are working up there, I guess. But OTC is actually smart about it-there's always a huge market for food, water, and oxygen, because those things are kind of needed, you have to pay to send the rocket, and it takes time to get your paycheck in. Regardless of space elevators or whatever, moving shit takes time and energy.

I actually did a presentation back in high school about "Vertical Farms". The idea behind them is maximizing space while using as little space as possible. To get super autistic, if the OTC thing wasn't already, that's the kind of stuff that we're going to build going into the future, maximizing output while minimizing input. So no, Bob, we won't be farming on the moon. Let's not even get into the logistics of terraforming the fucking moon, or what tech we need to do that, just consider this: How much space is on the moon, and how does it compare to how much farmland we have here on Earth? And when it comes to farming, you don't just need the land that grows the crops, you need a place for the workers to sleep. Oh, robots? Need space for the power generation, and for people to maintain that power generation. No matter how much you automate, you need a real human to whack it with a hammer when it fucks up.

Wheat on the moon is not impossible, but it's so inefficient that, unless we find valuable resources in the moon and launch heavy mining operations, we won't actually grow anything on the moon. All signs point to "Bob, you're fucking retarded."

This was a long winded rant, but I just get mad when people are this damn stupid.

While the push towards technological innovation is a very good thing. Bob's expectations are really off kelter not in the least because his world view makes litterally no attempt to address the have's vs the have nots.

The ends do not justify the means. I hate Trump and pretty much every politician in brexit and have spent a great deal of time campaigning against these things but their are limits and their are standards we should not violate for a number of obvious reasons. To summerize in referance to Bob with a movie he disaproves off.

Henri Ducard: Your compassion is a weakness your enemies will not share.

Bruce Wayne: That's why it's so important. It separates us from them.

Bob looks a bit like anarcho-capitalist Walter Block when Block was younger:

Hell, were it not for the fact that Block supported Trump and holds some rather problematic views about women and black people's IQs, I think the two of them would get on famously. They're both big fans of Atlas Shrugged.

Bob traded the problematic views on black and women IQs for middle-Americans.

More MCU knob-polishing:

Perfect response in the comments:

Just because you have a great villain does not mean that the film is all about the villain. Heath Ledger had about 20 minutes of screentime in TDK. A great villain challenges a hero in ways that can really dig into what the hero is all about.

The MCU doesn’t get off of the “crappy villains” critique with some lame “it’s all about the heroes” argument…
