Needless to say, Mao shut that shit down pronto once he'd secured his power.

Mao kept it going and pushed it constantly until it got a bunch of his subordinates jailed. Then he got off scott-free and to this day the Chi-Coms refuse to acknowledge the millions of lives it cost.

He abused the shit out of his own rhetoric which is how the Cultural Revolution started. He wanted a country where college students routinely beat the shit out of "reactionaries" and destroyed problematic reminders of the old ways. Much like what Bob and his ilk want.

Not an accident. Stalin did the same, giving up sacrificial lambs, usually people who he felt were a threat to him, as a scapegoat to punish them for enacting his own policies. Mao did a somewhat better job, in that even the current regime still pays lip service to his legacy, while Stalin was more or less denounced before his body was cold.

Amazing, really, considering the amount of times Mao fucked up hardcore. But leave it to Bob to share ideals with someone that should be rightfully looked upon as a pretty awful leader.

He is an absolute buffoon in his politics, without even the basic garden variety intelligence to recognize you can't admire Rand and a hardcore statist like Mao at the same time. It's literally schizophrenic.

Well, he did shill a lot for Hillary's cult campaign. He's drawn to shit leaders with little conviction like moths to flames.

This assumes that most Rand fans are consistently libertarian. Bob probably just identifies with Galt as someone held back by society, and likes Mao because he killed political enemies. His politics are so clearly based on feeling slighted and wanting revenge it's scary.

I mean he basically has the political philosophy of your typical school shooter. Thank god he's lost a foot to diabetes and knows literally nothing about firearms.

It's worth noting Bob has never (to my knowledge) expressed admiration or agreement towards Mao Zedong. I was simply pointing out his and most SJWs' politics are Maoist in all but name.
That's what I noticed as well. These proletariats with iphones follow radical leftist groups and are quick to tweet "fuck capitalism" as a way of virtue signaling.

But I wish these people could see China today. Even the Red Army reenactors walk around with iphones and nikes. Pic related.

The only somewhat consistent thing about Bob that i can find is that he hates the X-men movie series.Everything else can end up a contradiction but that.In fact the only reason he probably gave Deadpool a good review and even there it was a lukewarm review good for kids weirdly but no one else was because everyone else liked it and its ties to the other X-men movies are limited. That's why i'm curious what will he say about the upcoming Logan movie.I don't see a negative review the advance screenings already show widespread acclaim but i would be surprised if he actually gives it a very good label.

You could argue that the Bubonic Plague was good in that it kinda gave Europe a kick in the ass in regards to medicine. You had people studying victims, symptoms, and how it spread through populations, which are all huge in early medical research.

You could NOT argue that a catastrophic depopulation was a positive outcome. By that same logic, the Thirty Years War was great for southern Germany, since some places lost as much as 2/3 of their population.

The Black Plague is also partially responsible for eroding Feudalism as well. Because serfs were plentiful, they really couldn't demand all that much. But with the massive amount of depopulation, serfs and peasants could demand more rights which hastened the end of the feudalistic systems.

Just a random fun fact: Immunity to the black plague and HIV are related. Both the plague and the HIV virus rely on a certain receptor on cells to infect them. There's a specific mutation in people where they don't have this specific receptor on their cells, so they can't be infected. Due to the massive casualties, this mutation was passed on. This has caused about 10% of Europeans to be resistant/immune to HIV. Also a great example of natural selection in humans.

Jesus fucking christ. "WHITE PEOPLE ARE EBIL!" No Bob, you stupid fat fuck, Europe was basically 100% white except for the areas conquered by the Moors.

Bob is extremely consistent in his opinions, they're just all garbage. Pretty much all of his viewpoints are based on who he thinks likes a given thing. So he dislikes the X men movies because a) they're not made by Marvel Studios, and b) he considers the X-men fanbase to be a million dudebro clones of Brett Ratner.

If public opinion is high enough he'll probably do with Logan what he did with Deadpool - lukewarm praise the film while filling his review with passive-aggressive snipes at its supposed target audience. See also: every Fast and the Furious review he's ever done. Bonus points if he makes a comment that the movie could be waay cooler if Marvel had made it b/c they have the rights to the Hulk and could adapt Old Man Logan properly.

Does the Footless Wonder ever talk about non-franchise films?

I know you shouldn't mock people for dressing up in silly outfits but somehow seeing a grown man dress as Mario because of his love for a character will always be pathetic.I mean there is a difference between being cool in your 30's and being embbarrasing in your 30's.I know most guys like this want to seem like they're not really getting old and they still have some of the youthfull spirit but almost always they crash and burn.Very few folks can still be cool beyond a certain age like Patrick Stewart who is old enough to be Bob's father but on the coolness meter Stewart is at a completely different level.

I wouldn't be surprised if he bitches about it being too dark and violent.
